This noise is just because the bearing is worn out making the axle to balance on the space the bearing has left between the axle and the worn center of the bearing and you just need to exchange the bearing and you have blower for 10 more years and for couple dollar
My car started making this exact same noise a week ago so I’m gonna go replace the blower motor and resistor while I’m at it, thank you so much, it’s literally such a simple install and shops want to charge you $650 🤦🏽♂️
I'm pretty sure it's my blower motor thats bad at first when id turn heat/air on it make this exact noise then one night I heard a loud clank/thump under my dash so that's all I can think of after that loud thump it was completely done. Sounded like something flew apart
Thank you. You just confirmed what was wrong with a 2010 Honda Pilot we were test driving. I had the blower on full blast as we were driving and we heard that sound. The salesman tried to tell us it was nothing, it was normal. There were many others things about it that were wrong with it. Glad we didn't buy it. haha
My car makes this noise when nothing is on. The noise goes away when I put the fans on the face. Once turned off, the noise comes back again. Could it still be that?
Camry LE 05 is act weird. When I turn it on,I don't feel air blowing though the vent but while driving when I drove on sewer pothole,or terrible traffic, that's when it work. Even when i kept driving to make it work again for drive on terrible traffic,it didn't work. I started to figure out how to make it work,I clicked the button to let the air blow the vent from outside and the air is back working again. So I don't know which one is the problem. Motor or Resistor. Plus it did not make noise.
I'm going to check mine soon. It also makes similar noise when it's turned on, but it's similar to metal clunking or something like that, it's hard to explain. And yes, I can only hear it when I turn on my fan, so it must be something connected with that. It stops when the car heats up a bit, so I'm not sure if that's the same problem.
u can just take ur motor to one of these guys who rewind motors. they usually change the bearing for u. save some money on buying a whole new blower motor assembly
I have a nissian Sentra 2014 too & I just got a new blower motor today . It’s making the vibration sound it wasn’t making that noise before my a/c stop working

My Nissan Rogue made a terrible noise when we turned on the heat today and I’m pretty sure this is the problem.... we turned it on two more times and then the air flow just stopped (along with the noise). Does that happen when the blower motor totally fails?
I want to know why my cooling fan is abnormally loud when I turn on my ac like it’s not clacking or screaching it makes the normal sound but 5 to tens times louder like when I’m driving it sounds like someone is mowing there lawn but it’s just following me
This is the same sound I’m having out of no where, reeks like dead fish!! Does that mean there could be a rodent in there? We’ve had mice in this vehicle before
I think my blower motor literally went out. It used to sound like that but yesterday when I started it it was just a loud screeching/clunking sound 😅😅 I guess I can't procrastinate putting in a new one now
My car is five years old. Took it to service and was told the cabin filter was dirty with leaves etc i said okay then kets change it. How much? $110. I said no. When i got in ym car they had the AC blasting and was making this noise ... Im damn sure they let debris get into the motor when they put back the dirty filter. Sigh
I've got a 2010 Nissan Sentra with the blower motor from hell given where they put it, you practically have to either completely pull the dash or remove all kinds of stuff like the gas and brake pedals just to reach it. In contrast I have a 2009 Toyota Corolla and its blower couldn't possible be easier to get at if they just mounted it in the coffee cup holder, its right there in plain view under the glove box with absolutely nothing in its way and only three screws and a plug to remove. I've got to fix both motors, I am NOT looking forward to tackling the Nissan.
Mine is making noises but sounds like more coming motor fan and does it when you turn the screen or heat on and will also do it when sitting in traffic with ac and heat off
geez, $300 blower motor? i'd fact check that. because that's not accurate. what year/make/model is your car lmao i guarantee you're looking at the wrong part. i just bought a blower motor today AND another part and the total came out to be under $40
Mines just started making this noise when i turn on the ac it continues when i turn it off and also continues when i turn the car engine off im so confused why does it keep going whe the cars off
What if the noise is only being made when the blower motor is in the assembly? I took the fan out and turned it on and the noise was not there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So my 2015 dodge charger has this noise…but its not constant. ex…air/heat will blow fine for an hour or even up to a day. then the noise starts…gets weak then weaker then eventually stops along with any ac/heat blowing out. with the control set on highest speed it still only blows at a low speed if that. any suggestions???? ive been told its the blower then resistor and just not sure what to do. its getting colder in the mornings and need to fix fast. 😢🥺
I just replaced the blower motor resistor in my 2008 Toyota 4Runner and now the blower motor is making this noise. It wasn't making this noise prior to the resistor issue so is it possible that the after market resistor I bought is causing the issue?

How to check the other box that goes to the blower motor to see if it is bad it will only work on high or low the the resistor or is it the switch that controls the speeding the blower motor the blower motor is fine but it goes to 5 and only works on 2 on a gmc 2006 4.3 5 speed just curious u will probley fund it before I get a response and good work getting to the point an dnkt making a video last for 29 mins there just like selling vehicles 4,999 yeah they see the 4 but dont pay no attention to the rest of it hahahahahaha
I have a 2016 Cady SRX. I changed the cabin air filter and some dried leaves were present so I carefully took out the filter and replaced it. I turned the car back on and the motor was vibrating significantly at high speed. I then pulled the motor out (10 minute job) and there it was, a single dried and curled up leaf about 1"X0.25" sitting in the fan assembly that must have dropped in when I pulled the filter, the fan was fine before this. I put the motor back in and Presto! Vibration gone. I could not believe it, one leaf unbalances the whole thing. Thank you to 1A Auto once again, you guys have saved me more money than you can imagine with your videos.
So I just had my blower motor replaced in my fiancés Jeep Compass yesterday. She said when she turned the heat on the heating system was still making noise what would causes that since there is brand new blower motor installed ???

I have a 2010 silverado that when I put the fan on high it has a constant hum to it. I am thinking its the blower but am unsure, is there anything else I should check?
Mine sounded just like this today!!! I pulled out the glove box and cabin air filter and felt around turned out it was a dirty crusty piece of brown paper towels like the ones from school! I removed it and the sound was gone

I have a blower motor that works RANDOMLY... will just spring to life... then other times, nothing. when it does run, all speeds work as they should..... so where is the problem?
+Latoya Thomas It is very possible that your blower motor needs to be replaced, we would suggest consulting with a reputable local mechanic to confirm this. 1aauto.com
Do you need to disconnect the negative battery terminal before you disconnect or remove the blower motor on all cars, or just certain cars, or is it not really necessary? Could the air bags deploy from not doing that? And last, if you do disconnect the battery on a 'newish' car (here 2016), does that cause any problems with other parts of the car once your've reconnected the battery (like needing to reset stuff before it will work)?
+bbfbsgmbpt12121 Thanks for watching! You do not need to disconnect the battery to perform this repair, so it should not be a concern. If you do disconnect the battery it will not cause any problems, maybe just a couple of things will reset themselves.
