I wanna point out the major thing about Tanya. And it's the fact that she did ALL of this, to not only Spite God, but to also find a way of living an easy life in her new world.
@@devnotes00 It's ironic, actually; because the entire time she had been running on the mindset that The Empire's military was similar to the modern times. Somehow completely forgetting that it was a different time in the early 1900s. So the entire time she thought her actions would either get her transferred, discharged, or discourage other soldiers. It just made her more of a war hero and inspiration.
the God power only makes her pray involuntarly, the reason she is high is because of the spells she casts on her brain to simulate ADHD medication and speed for the body to sustain longer periods of activity, more intense ones like forced marches and battle and the ADHD meds is going to allow her to use her magic gear under stress, those spell require a minimum level of targeting on consious activation, unlike a rifle that you can mostly fire and forget... A doctor told her she would most likely not grow in height because of the training and her "lifestyle" would not help as she actualy drugs her body through magical means. The story would be interesting if the person Tanya was supposed to be was to be a witness and struggle with this Demon doing this much damage.
She's genuinely pissed they made it through training, she was trying to get them all to quit so she live the good life and wouldn't have to go to the front. The whole time she was being as extreme and harsh as possible, but instead they get Stockholm syndrome and think she did it all for them and becomes their "Beloved Leader".
as a note, she's actually being portrayed as MORE savage than she was originally. She's got a reverse Isekai protagonist syndrome. Most of the big ones tend to be portrayed as nicer with each adaption while Tanya just becomes more of a little demon imp, or so I heard. In addition, she expresses no chill because 1) she's aiming to end the war as pragmatically as possible because she really, REALLY does not want to be involved with this stuff and 2) her commanders are overly patriotic morons who trade in common sense for the 'glory' and 'honor' of war.
12:30 He actually missed the most sinister thing about this. The thing is that she was required to give them a warning before attacking right. But she intentionally sounded like a cute little girl so that they would think it's just some sort of prank and not take it seriously. She did that so they wouldn't evacuate and therefore maximize fatalities XD
Actually she didn't intentionally do it at all. Tanya was speaking in Dakian, a language which isn't natural to her and so her real voice comes out. The rest of the time she's intentionally changing her voice so people take her more seriously. Hence why when everyone was saying "they didn't know she was great at acting" she looks pissed off.
@@jessbellis9510 Lol NO that is not what happened XD. Sorry .. It just isn't. She made herself sound cute so that she wouldn't be taken seriously. And so the men in those factories would not free from the incoming fire. Hell she might have been speaking Dakian. But she did that too. It's 100% Obvious. Why would you even argue the point XD? You tryin'a make her out to be the good guy or summit!?
Was not intentional, in the novel it is specified that she was just fucked up the pronunciation since the "cute little girl" voice is her natural voice, the harsher one is the one she makes on porpouse. But since it is another language she wasn't able to do the voice correctly and her natural voice came out. The reason for the "moe act" is that there is no moe act, that was just the animators animating the scene wrong, there is no such thing in the original.
I’ve recently just started watching this, from what I’ve seen; Tanya is a real tactical genius. From enlisting, to where I’m currently at now. And her beef with God/Being X. And she followed every protocol to a Tee.
Shes not a tactical genius. She just had access to 21st century knowledge that dissected ww1 and ww2. She understands modern warfare from history lessons in her previous life. Many countries went into ww1 using 19th century tactics (including the US) and got slapped silly because of it. There was an adjustment period + many battles were studied even to this day about why they failed and how they could have succeeded. If you watch that modern documentary on how to train navy seals, then go back in time, theoretically you should be able to become the best drill instructor of that time period. "If I have seen further that others, it is because I am standing on the shoulders of Giants"
@@nullakjg767 i mean, she also wrote out entire essays to point out loopholes in certain rules of engagements so some things wouldn't be seen as a warcrime, on top of abusing the fact that she's physically a child (i.e. the time she used a more cutesy voice before bombing the shit out of a factory so it's not an illegal target) to her advantage lmao also, the knowledge she has is definitely not on warfare, outside of knowing ww2 history; she was a fucking businessman lmao
@@BlackWACat Those essays shes talking about are based on policy created by the allies to justify bombing civilian population centers in an effort to demoralize the axis. The british and american airforces routinely targeted civilian populations in both japan and germany. Of course so were the germans. But doctrine like that is even used today to justify war crimes in the middle east. Labeling everyone they kill as insurgents because "only insurgents would still be there" etc.
(Around 15:29) Fun fact this character is meant to be a direct Eren Jaeger allegory, so much so that his character design is *apparently* a near identical trace job over a frame of Child Eren in the same position, looking up at the destruction caused by their enemies with a vengeful look that said "I Will make you pay for this eventually". Which is why Tanya wasn't taking chances and said "clap them start up revenge machines before they get the chance" absolutely brutal thought process and actions but can't fault that logic after looking at said inspiration's final act being The Ultimate Revenge.
I saw CJ uploaded this and thought nah ima wait till intheclutch put up they reaction to watch it cuz i know ima laugh harder. Love y’all keep up the great work and content cant wait for y’all to hit 1mil subs
Maaan that Mary vs Tanya Fight could not have even 10% of it's Epicness expressed in a 1 minute recap, that is Literally the "Levi *KENNNY!!!* Freak-Out City Chase" scene but seasoned with "Broly Movie Clashes" in more ways than one. If you have not seen that scene (or the Tanya Movie in general) do yourself a favor and fix that, it is some God Level Choreography and Sound Design!
Pack watch 😆 I'm dead That training exercise reminds me of a happy little accident during an infantry exercise. Artillery was doing an exercise to the east of us while we were simulating hostile takeover of a high position. The winds changed. They weren't dropping explosives so we were ok, but that CS gas hit hard af. Found out REAL quick who the real ones were and who was all talk. Thanks for the vid guys!
With Kid Buu as the coach. If they don't wreck the Earth in 30 seconds, he's deleting them with the whole planet without a grunt out of his mouth like he did in front of Goku and Vegeta
Sadly we got dumbasses who made tanya a banned cosplay because they don't know the difference between WW1 Germany & WW2 Nazi Germany Wanted to cosplay play her and mess with people dressing as god or Jesus
a few inacuracies, guy in snow was dead she revived him , so they all got scared of whatever awaited them if they failed training since she won't let them die the town, she gave every one 24 h to gtfo after that ANYONE still there was considered enemy comabatant ... ANY ONE !!! the german "air force" invading moscow breaking shit and shooting a movie ................... YEAH that happend IRL ................................
the og video is decent but he misconstrues a lot of context. like she wasn’t trying to kill the trainees, she was trying to get them to drop out so that she wouldn’t have to lead them on super dangerous missions and die. too bad she was too good at her job and made all of the trainees think that she would murder them if they dropped out.
What he being accused of is inaccurate and full of false boots for example the Chelsea front had fired at them was either Duds or low level charges clearly not enough to punch you and she basis on actual facts of average of Charlie Pirates he makes everything on the worst case battle situation I love you point out none of them died
The Wildest shit about Tanya is....she did all that shit and didn't broke any law, she used all loopholes she could found and did all the heinous thing within the law
I loved the resistance bombardment. In the LN it was stated that they'd use incendiary shells and use magic to fan the flames forward. Strengthening them, fueling them to achieve a higher temp, and directing them for maximum destruction. They had a whole painting in the future where it was still debated whether it was a war crime or not.
