Clutch Repair Bracket VWT4 

Excellent ,we've owned our 1996 t4 2.5 Westy campervan for years and never new off this Mod,the pedals always been a bit Naff,this is well worth doing,incidentally the Clutch just packed up yesterday. Cheers

Great vid,I had to cut trim around the bracket as the bracket was being pushed away by the trim and wouldn’t sit right👍🏼

I bought the bracket first then looked at my 1993 van…not the same. I’ll send it on to a Vw t4 friend in need!

Just did 2.5 td dropped engine mount gave plenty of room to get servo bolt .. supported engine on jack .. easy enought job well worth doing

Cheers for that mate. Truth is i wasstruggling to find the bracket bolt from the engine bay. Sorted now. Bit fiddly but not to bad. All sorted now. Nice one.

Nice one that's just the vid I was looking for. I bought the bracket last week but couldn't work out where the 3rd bolt was so now I can get on with fitting it

Well worth mod for your T4. I fitted mine before I had any flex as a preventative measure!

Thanks for the video Carl , didn’t go too well lol firstly had to remove my intercooler and half my pipe work to get to the nut , then I dropped my socket and extension down into the sump tray which then had to be removed… pain !!! Whilst looking where exactly the socket was I turned and head butted the corner of the Bonnet splitting my forehead lol blood everywhere…. But managed to sort it in the end even though it was already solid but I suppose it had to be done ✅

I ordered the new bracket like u said.may have used bolts for something else but still got bracket.lucky I was near home just been north Wales with family in van.ive taken intercooler and some pipes and can see bolt now but only have 1/2 wobble bolt

I took roof carpet off today, there was something like bouble wrap with silver/Alu coat on it. However between roof and that bouble things was lot of condensation. It was made by previous owner. No space for ventilation was left as well. How u do this guys? Thanks

Ha!! Very easy eh? Try doing it on a 5 cylinder T4 2.5 tdi, that bolt is impossible to gat at!!!

I’m gonna have to check mine out, not sure if this has been done.

hi, on end of universal joint whats that between long socket and the uni. .ive ordered uni socket to undo that bolt.

Lot easier on my 1.9d 👍 peace.
