I think you need to adjust the self adjusting clutch cable mine was doing same shit untill I pulled up on the clutch peddle and pushed down then pull up repeat pull up on the peddle then push it down again you'll feel it vet right grab it with your hand pull up then in gadge the peddle FHEW times mine stoped MAKEING chatter like that after I did all that hope you can understand what I've said the 4.. 6.. has its own sound. So don't get alarmed

my clutch doesn’t release all the way so its hard to go into gear and out of gear. and the fork if very loose when i take the slave off and wiggle it by hand. is the ball adjustable and able to be pulled out some so it can fulcrum more and the fork push into the clutch more? or maybe the ball lost material up top so thats why it doesnt help anymore and needs a new one? thanks for this video it brings a new perspective.

we also put different brand pressure plate and different clutch disk so i think its thst because i put washers in between slave and fork to see if it would push it further but the gears are the same.

HELLOOO. :) Should there be a snug fit of sliding the throwout bearing onto the clutch fork? or is some play normal? _side to side up down of bearing on the fork OFF the trans) My clutch fork is used and throwout bearing brand new. Im a very meticiulous person and dont wanna do ANYTHING a second time.

Hi, It is normal to have some free play. There does need to be some free play to allow for expansion with heat and build-up of clutch dust. Thanks

@@australianclutchservices7503Thanks man. One more question. Ok so the top and sides of the clutch fork (top flattened but show wear) one SIDE only has a groove in it wear wise-Why would only ONE side have a groove and not the other? Seems like the pilot bearing was at an angle almost?. Is it time to get a new fork? can i just have someone weld material in? Ive seen it done but then im not sure how much free play the bearing needs. To me it seems excessive.

96 mustang Gt makes ticking sound after I had new clutch installed brought it back and was told that's normal not to worry drive it and enjoy it wtf ??

Right now I am having an issue I can’t figure out.. help? I bought a car with a new clutch. At the beginning. as I started letting out the petal from the floor, the clutch would grab hard. Didn’t have any issues other than a tick when I had the petal out and in N… When I’d press it in the noise went away.. the slave cylinder was bad so I replaced it and the master as well, bled them really well. And still had the tick and the petal would be slow to return all the way.. it would Pop back 60% of the way then slowly the rest of the way.. if you let your foot off the petal fast it basically comes up and then slaps the bottom of your foot.. now when I have clutch pressed in all the way I can’t get into 1st gear.. sometimes if i shift into 4th then try 1st it will work but it’s stiff.. once I get it into 1st gear I can come back to neutral and any other gear ( keep in mind car isn’t moving at all during all this. Just clutch in and manipulating the shifter.) but say i go back to neutral and let the clutch out all the way, then press it in again.. im back to square1 … can’t get into 1st gear.. stiff as a rock.. but I can sometimes get it into 4th and then 1st again after that.. any time I let the clutch out all the way in N I can’t get into 1st … side note when the cars not running I can go through all the gears .. clutch in and out doesn’t affect it.. only while running.
