He did in small spots. Zero-1 is where he was when I saw him there. He tagged with CW Anderson and I think another Tom Howard/UPW guy. I know he also did some dojo style training at the original New Japan L.A. Dojo. Liger helped teach the class.

Imagine a world where all the great wrestlers of ROH history where still there, that means no AEW, the company would've evolve into something really unique. I have still hope for them, ROH just need more ambition.
@Mike-ky6jc

Feels like AEW could really use Ring Of Honor along with their TNA merger to their advantage. AEW really needs a AAA source to train wrestlers to meet their companies needs and let them gain the experience they need, WWE pulled all the top talent mostly from ECW and OVW. Now they have NXT. If AEW can pull something similar I feel they really will become a viable competitor. Right now they are doing their own thing and aren't in a positron to really compete with WWE on the level WCW did during the Monday night wars. Another advantage would be letting people with experience semi retire into ROH and TNA so they can continue to collect a paycheck and help with training and storylines. Cody certainly has the strings since had the backbone to quit WWE and wrestle the indie circuit. Of course I haven't been keeping up outside of the odd Danhausen match so I have no clue what Cody is up to these days or his working relationship with AEW.

Depends on the terms of his contract with AEW. I'm pretty sure he has the same kind of flexibility that guys like Omega and Moxley have in theirs.

The biggest mistake CM Punk ever made was leaving ROH. Had he stayed he probably would have still been wrestling and would have been in Marty Scurll’s position.

I don't think so. CM Punk in WWE open a lot of doors for wrestlers outside WWE. If not be for him, i think there is not even AEW now. Him and Bryan show wrestling indies to a lot of people.

His goal wasn't even to be in the WWE then moans for years that he is not being pushed as a main event champion,doesn't put the effort in the gym to look tv ready and have that superstar larger than life look and character every one else works their arse off working out and he expected to be picked and pushed over more deserving talents at least miz worked on his Wwe appearance and tried to create a drawing character, won back to back MIB became the Worlds champion big gold belt disappears for a couple of years returns with even worse chest tattoos and asks why he isn't in the main event of Mainia ?. He is hypocritical
@purplev2791
@purplev2791 3 года назад
His goal wasn't to be in the WWE, because of exactly what happened to him. He didn't just moan about not being pushed, but he protested against targeted bullying, the limits of freedom both in and outside the ring and for being treated like shit for stuff that doesn't matter for pro wrestling. If it wasn't for CM Punk, today's generation would suffer the same. And no, he doesn't work his ass off to look like a tanned bodybuilder who can't wrestle. Neither did he join the steroids gangs. He worked his ass off to become a great professional wrestler. Since 1999! From storytelling to technique he became the whole package. Fuck this "superstar look". Austin, Roddy Piper, Eddie - they all didn't have the superstar look until the WWE's mindset changed. Hell, Miz is exactly the guy who fought his way up with his own strengths. If you want to jerk off to America's ideal bodybuilder men who talk like fake politicians, there are other platforms and mediums.
