The Miz was the in-studio guest last week on WWE Backstage on FS1, and after the show, he exchanged some playful banter with hosts Renee Young and Paige, poking fun at a comment CM Punk had previously made when he made his return about "changing the culture." CM Punk did not take kindly to that joke and lobbed a Twitter bomb at Miz that he quickly deleted. Solomonster thinks there is another reason why Punk is still hot at Miz after all these years.

I vaguely remember him (might've been Ryback actually) saying something to the effect of "CM Punk is the type of person that no matter how good things are going, he WILL find something to be pissed off and upset about, and focus soley on THAT." This is a really odd coincidence, but I was watching survivor series 2007, and the opening match is John Morrison the Miz and CM punk for the ECW world championship, and a good match if anyone’s curious, and then this happens, and Morrison’s come back the week earlier I guess I pulled off a really impressive accident, and no one cares.

I gave Punk exactly one year to come back and impress me as a fan. I understood that he needed some time off. Heard his rants on Cabana's podcast and agreed with most of it. And I said "maybe everything will be patched up and we'll see him at Royal Rumble 2015." Then he didn't show up and did UFC instead. Didn't really like the idea since I know dudes younger than me who were MMA fighters who would kill to be in UFC but whatevs. Maybe he can prove himself and have something nice to contribute. Dude didn't even try, jobbed twice and got paid more than my MMA fighting buddies will probably ever see. So since then I've been done with Punk. Phil Brooks is dead to me and has been for over 3 years. Whenever I see him on WWE Backstage I think "meh. This dude's a waste of space."

CM Punk comes off as a paranoid super defensive guy. He even quit WWE because after not getting the Mania main event acting like WWE didn't appreciate him. Even though he just had a 450 day run with the title... I think the only way he would be satisfied is if he never lost ever. And even then he'd probably find something to blame John Cena for. Hart isn't even that bitter anymore. I think he calmed down after the shoot interview where him and Michaels discuss their rivalry in 2011 or so. But yes it took Hart a very long time to stop being so bitter. It will probably take Brooks just as long.

Miz and Dolph mocked Punk's ufc debut on ppv couple years ago. Pretty sure Punk remembers that. You said Miz defended him but then did that. This may be the reason.

Its clear that Punk was putting his spin on Jake the Snakes promo "Just when you think you have the answer, I change the question" He just said Culture because its the "Cult of personality" . It was actually a good promo but the timing was crappy
