I agree with you 100%. I've been watching wrestling since 1988, during the mega powers storyline. I haven't watched RAW since Roman's departure last month. Once upon a time it was unthinkable that I'd ever miss RAW. Now, it's been weeks and I don't miss it. The sad thing is that when I watch highlights or read the results, it's like I've missed nothing at all. The show is just a constant repeat of the week before. I'm perfectly fine enjoying all of the old content on the Network and calling it a day.

WWE isn't going to change anytime soon, it's going to be the same overproduced, over scripted, childish humor and boring storylines that is has been for years. Sure it may have a good match here and there but who cares if there isn't a compelling storyline to go with it. The only way it changes is if they start getting heat from sponsors, the network or shareholders about the sagging ratings and that's not going to happen as long as the core audience keeps watching and spending money.

I actually kind of wanted The Elite guys to go to WWE. but now, please start that new promotion tomorrow, thanks

Truthfully my biggest concern with Raw is the heel to face ratio. The men’s division primarily showcased Corbin, McIntyre, Ziggler, Ambrose, Lashley and Rush as the heels. Elias, Balor and Rollins as the faces. The women’s division was the same thing. Alexa, Nia, Tamina, Ruby, Liv, Logan, Mickie, Alicia and Dana as the heels. The faces Ronda, Nattie, Ember, Sasha and Bayley. Too many heels. Keep in mind Brock wasn’t even on the show.

We have surely come a long way. 2017 to 2019 was the worst period.

Raw was absolutely awful nothing had a purpose or substance it felt like it was written half hour before air. I feel bad for having sat through this show. I don't ever want to see AoP v Revival again.

You are so right! I only watch the PPVs live now. I stopped watching Raw and Smackdown and just listen to podcasts and RU-vid clips to fill in what I miss in between the PPVs.

I wouldn't have said this a few years ago, but honestly? I wouldn't care if you stopped reviewing RAW and just replaced it with Impact instead. The show has improved so much and is 10x better than RAW every week. But then again, I enjoy the hell out of your rants lol.

I was confused....just...what the hell was it? Besides Dolph & Seth of course, there was nothing. Just a bunch of people they've build us to not care about wrestling for nothing....Dean took a needle to the ass for some reason...every single segment was bad. Makes me miss Stephanie actually, because a show without the McMahon's is always a topic of discussion. If THIS is the future, God help us all.

This somehow came up in my recommended videos....it's funny how Solomonster, and many others, back then thought RAW getting less then 2 millions viewers was not gonna happen and nowdays it's the norm for RAW to get between 1.6 and 1.9. I wonder how it will be in the next couple years...

It was actually last weeks RAW that finally caused me to stop watching when they neglected to acknowledge anything that happened on Survivor Series. So I missed this episode entirely........THANK GOD APPARENTLY ^_^

I’ve been watching wrestling since 2004 and never in my years has RAW had such a stacked roster with so many different personalities still manage to put on a show so bland it makes total bellas look interesting, The storylines they have these guys in have so little context next to no pay off at the end so how are fans meant to get invested into them?? ,like I completely forgot No way Jose was even on RAW if he hadn’t had come out tonight

I turned it off after that abomination that was the Nia Jax promo and didn't look back, and I can see I didn't miss anything after that. Nia without a doubt has thee worst mic skills I have ever seen, and WWE thought it was a good idea to put this clumsy oaf over after injuring yet another performer and put her out of comission? A performer that is at the moment and probably for a long time after the most popular wrestler in WWE?

How can it be good when the same stars 'fight' the same opponents 3 weeks straight!?

It is god awful. I’m surprised it gets any ratings anymore. I started watching in January 1990 and I have seen some terrible WWF/E shows in my time but I can’t watch this anymore. I actually gave in watching full Raws in 2007, they’ve been lacklustre for years and it comes across like they know but just love sticking it to fans. “Hey, you think that was shit? Oh we can do worse than that and you’ll like it”. I watch segment highlights and I probably needn’t bother with that either, really. Between their selective and wonky political ethics, shit writing, quite frankly vomit inducing production, Vince McMahons stranglehold on talent using certain words, feuds and storylines so flaccid viagra itself would go limp at, terrible commentary, Groundhog Day booking... this has to be the worst show on TV. I’d even throw SD in there. Look at the Daniel Bryan storyline ‘I’m a heel now because you didn’t believe in me’ and compare it to the Ambrose one ‘I’m a heel now because you weren’t there for me’, Jesus Christ. Your two main stories are the same and they’re dull, unimaginative, lazy and played out to death. WWE likes to call itself a TV show these days well in terms of TV shows your TV show is terrible. If Game Of Thrones took their writing approach we’d still be waiting for king Robert to die and the snow in the north would probably have melted.

I'm sorry Solomonster but you have to admit it: you are....THE MOST ELECTRIFYING MAN IN SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT TODAY! No one wants to watch this shit. You save me hours every week. I play your podcast on my commute to work and I'm completely caught up. Why should I watch this? You save me so much time and are so much more entertaining. Praise goes to Vince McMahon for creating an atmosphere so devoid of entertainment and joy that a secondary market exists just to save us all from having to burn 3 hours of our lives on it.

At this point I'd rather go back and watch a Raw from 1995. At least those were short.
