Like your product review. One additional question: are you using bluetooth for audio transmission between the iPad and your Amp? Didn‘t see a cable connected on the iPad.

Ahhh no. Good question. For this example I was actually screen recording the iPad and it recorded the audio. 👍🏻

Not been seen in Windows 11 unfortunately after buying two of em. Do you have to buy two of these devices to work ,one for the receiver and transmitter?

Also, I tried to use this on a BeatBuddy...with the cme 6 pin adapter...but it didn't work until I plugged in the BeatBuddy breakout midi cable which is bulky.

Widi Jack works well with 2 devices in a midi loop. It's nice that you can power the device from the Midi Out of your devices...but be aware that a lot of guitar pedals with Midi don't actually supply power...my Strymon Volante is one example. In that case you have to supply power via USB which means more cables ironically.

Does this work with mini midi controllers like the Novation Launckey Mini MK3, Arturia Minilab MK3 or the Akai MPK Mini MK3?

hiya JP. have you any experience with android 13 phone talking with widi jack? i can get everything to connect and transmit midi, but when i disconnect and re-connect it doesn't seem to work. widi jack light flashes blue waiting to connect no matter what i do. no worries if you can't help

So with 2 widi jacks i should be able to use a midi controller (ampero control) and modeler (ampero 2 stomp) wirelessly and have them be on separate part of stages ( controller front stage modeler on drum riser) as long as it's within 15 meters or so? Both the devices have midi in and out.

Hello there. How can I transform my midi out on the boss RC 500 into a áudio out put? So Incan keep using out puts A and B unrestricted?

It’s not possible. It carried midi data only through the TRS midi in and out.

The auto connect has me a bit confused. If there are two musicians each using widi, how do you enforce isolation between them if the devices just auto connect?

In that situation, change the name and maybe the midi channels of each one so you know who’s is who’s.

Have you updated the firmware? What are you trying to connect?

@@JohnPaulMusicUK Yes, my firmware on my Boss GT-1000 and the WIDI unit is up to date. I did message CME. It caused some strange behaviour where my patches were thrown out of order. I generated the midi patch changes in Logic then tried to transmit them in increments. I have not given up I'll try wired and see what happens to pin-point the issue.
