Nice Danish made Var barrel, which is a very good barrel, meaning your rifle did some time in Denmark. Look for PB and BMB marked parts. Those are italian made parts as Denmark bought M1s that were made by Bretta and Berretta post ww2. Also look for a tag inside the barrel channel that has the danish zeroing for 300 yards wrote on it, if your lucky the tags serial will match yours and you will have a as returned M1 that hasnt had parts swapped by the CMP.
Not a dream gun by any stretch, just a solid looking Service Grade, except you really seemed to have scored on that stock. It appears to be an International Harvester. The circled proof P should be plain with no serifs and Remove the stock and check to see if there are numbers stamped into the barrel channel of the stock. If that's an IHC stock it's likely worth several hundred dollars in that condition and if the stock metal is also Harvester even more
