CNC Rail Types

I wouldn’t say that flat are lighter, it really depends what size you order. If those rails are for that large router machine than those would’ve been appropriate. You’re working with a wood build so you have more than enough flexibility to switch it up. You should’ve went with 25mm block’s minimum for that sie. 15mm are for 3d printers. Maybe 15mm on a small short run axis like a lathe cross slide but rule of thumb the bigger the better.

Yo compré guía cuadrada de 20 mm para el eje X y guias redonda medialuna de 20mm para el Eje Y y el Z guias cuadradas. Crees que hice buena compra?

do you have a video on how you aligned the rails to make sure they were perfectly straight?

If I use 8mm rod wilh 1 meter Legnth to make milling cnc for wood and Aluminium , will it bent by the load if the rods are non supported type

Hola considera mejor utilizar la guía que muestra en el video para todos los ejes X Y Z que la guía cuadrada con riel plano?. saludos.
