Bought the left hand brace (Wbp lynx tactical) two weeks ago & already have on along with a new vortex venom. Excellent service CNC ! Waiting on my jcomp brake & I’ll be smokin some pots as Hickok 45 says. Great review !
OK I just got my cnc warrior brace , left side folder yesterday. I ordered it at noon Thursday. And got it noon Saturday. It's amazing piece of work. Rock solid. Now my micro draco is shootable again. Shout out to Tyler at CNC Warrior who helped me pick the correct model and hardware. Fit perfect took less than 4 mins to install. One bolt lockup. They are all caught up on their orders, no backlog now, if your item is in stock, Super fast. Very impressive cnc
Does the trunnion need to have a hole drilled through it? I'm thinking about getting the same brace for my mini but I've seen other videos where the installation seems like a pain in the ass.
@@711ForeverAlone mine has a flat trunion and a quick detach hole in center. One screw came with it, goes in the slot on the folding mechanism and then in the hole, put nut and tighten. Less than 3 minutes. I have a Century Arms Micro Draco RAS47
@@stripervince1 As in yours already had a hole in it when you bought it? I've got the Century Arms Mini Draco and it's got a flat trunnion too but no hole.
@@711ForeverAlone yes I must have some super upgraded version. My Micro has all kinds of goodies. Drilled qd rear trunion, notched safety for last round bolt hold open, front qd sling attachment, oversized paddle mag release, picatinny front rail with adjustable red/ green flourescent sights, full hood front sight, came with 2 metal 30 round last bolt hold open mags, never saw one with this many features
I have a question. The CNC brace comes with hardware. Basically a screw and a metal square nut? The screw goes into the gun from the back and the metal nut goes on the inside of the trunnion right?
One thing to add though, I use the safety from Krebs that is meant for LH operation and it works great with my RH side folder for my AK lets me push the safety selector down with a slight bump from my index knuckle.
@@clplusp8762 Ff you have the 1913 rail on the back you can select that version or you can even select the m70 which is just a bigger version of the pistol so it should work.
Take back off, and slide shrink tube over the tubular part of the frame and heat up. End result looks the same, but doesn't get hot or cold. Kinda like adding a rubber coating.
Nice review Eddy. Thanks for taking the time to make it. I just bought a Romanian AK pistol and am in the market fir a collapsible stock. Because my Cugir built pistol came with a DLG Tactical quad fore end w/Picatinny top rail, if I elect to buy CNC Warriors stock you showed here, I would go w/ the left side folding option since I have no need to mount a left side rail for optics, although there is room on the left side of this receiver for the spare DA side rail and, I’ve always wanted one of Rob Ski’s Giatfucker Annihilatir Optics (AK Operators Union store) Again, thanks for your review of the CNC Warrior collapsible stock. You covered it thoroughly. That said, one of your commentors gave a top tip suggesting to wrap the brace top tube w/paracord to avoid your cheek touching hot or cold metal. Good show Eddy!
Be careful, I don't know if this is true or not but supposedly you're not allowed to modify the brace. And unfortunately, I don't know if there's a sure way to know with the amount of ambiguity surrounding braces.
Excellent product. As advertised it's rock solid with no wobble. Mine was really tight and hard to fold but it fit perfectly and installed really easy.
If you're thinking of ordering one, they sale a jig to help you drill the needed hole. If you think you might need that, order at the same time to save on shipping. It is hard to find on their website...
@@shadowfoxcorp Actually maybe not, because mine came with a triangle side folding brace which I can't find for under $150 oddly enough. Does not seem like it should cost that much, however I feel that way about almost every brace I see.
I have a left side folder from bonesteel arms. Same brace. Had it for months but needed a drill bit to make it through the trunnion. Also a gun smith told me this was a stock and wouldn’t install it
Could you remove the roll pins holding the portion at the rear, then use shrink wrap on the upper tube to help keep your face off the cold or hot tube?
why didnt you buy one that folded the other way there are options on site plus I have red dot mounted on top of weapon works fine just curious...good vid
CNC Warrior always brings quality. That PSA triangle brace could have been so much better. It just makes me sad how it turned out with that clunky Tapco looking block and the fact that its all polymer for the price. Really wish they would have made an aluminum one with a standard hinge to use with legit 100 series folding trunnions as well.
Indeed. We waited and waited on the PSA brace and I'm super let down. I went ace folder, 9" ar pistol tube (trimmed threads for legal lop) and tailhook mod 1 from gearhead works. Cost same as psa's bubba plastic range toy garbage. Totally want the cnc warrior in my collection for a 556 ak build. Looks are on point. Would complete a galil sar or ace pistol well.
MY303V8 I have a M92 as well with the standard arm brace. Looking for a folding brace for it. Did you get the right hand folding or left hand folding? I would prefer it to fold over to the left side away from the safety, bolt, and trigger so that it could be shot with the brace folded. Thanks.
I cannot figure out how to take the brace off , my 1913 rail came loose but I cannot take the actual brace off , I’ve loosened all the bolts and it still won’t slide off
I was just looking at the Krebs Custom AK47SU and AK74SU pistols and this would perfectly complete the look. Now to decide on 7.62x39 or 5.45x39...Great review
@@edd Do you know which one I need for a Pak9? I don't know which one to select from the drop down menu? It has to be the Stamped or Nak9 option, but I don't know which one to pick? There custom service never answers the phone.
Don't like that I can't shoot it folded if it's the RH variant. I really need to be able to bust caps on some fools when I bust a drive-by on that ass. What do you think of the left side variant for the SAM7K44?
Subbed! Would this fit the kalashnikov usa komrad 12?? Looking for one of these style braces for it instead of the rubber sb one that came with it that isnt really holding up to the abuse of the komrad
Aesthetics are off scale Cool - I'd prefer old school wood, but that's ME. Round metal is a convenient place to carry emergency Para-Cord, so that's a PLUS. ... 😳
Robert Carlos yes they still make them folding in either direction, just specify which one you’d like from the drop down box on their site when you order :) www.cncwarrior.com/AK-Saiga-Sidefolding-Armbrace-p/29380.htm
Great video and GORGEOUS little AK "pistol" you've got! I just picked up my plum color Palmetto AK-P yesterday and took her out today and shot 210 rounds through her. I put a Sig Romeo 5 on to and it was a dream to shoot. I've been eyeballing this brace since I ordered the gun but couldn't find any pictures that showed the butt pad area to see if it was something that wouldn't be horrible to shoulder. Thank you for giving a good view of it! Now I'm set that this is DEFINITELY the brace for me! I also LOVE the bulgy 4 piece flash hider! That's another soon to be item on my list. I'll be going with the left side fold though because I don't have a scope mount on my AK-P because it comes with the pic rail dust cover.
Should have taken more time on the installation that was what I needed to see.cant really see the CNC warrior video... starting to think I've got the wrong parts ?
@@tacticalbob9884 wow. Thanks for the update. I haven't called. Still waiting since July 1st. Lol all i know is it better be nice AF. Should be the best money can buy its on par w/ cnc warrior. But u cant order shyt from CNC. It wont let me...
@@tacticalbob9884 Thanks & goodluck to you also. I will be honest if it wasn't for this long wait i would have ordered 3. I'm sure it's the same for many others. But when you have options that can be at your door in less than a week... lol. BONESTEEL COULD BE MAKING WAY MORE.
@@tacticalbob9884 That’s my real concern and is something holding me back from buying one. There’s definitely been a mix of people in the comments saying this is and isn’t legal. One person even said a gun smith refused to install it because it’s a stock. Granted, these are all just RU-vid comments, but it seems to be the general consensus of braces as a whole; confusion. And it doesn’t help that it would seem the ATF is gearing up for an incoming administration to start doing things like going after braces. So idk what to do. (Yeah Yeah, “don’t comply!” But is it really worth having a felony sitting around your house that you won’t be able to do anything with unless you live in a remote area where you can shoot from your backyard? Not for me at least).
i called cnc before i ordered and they said atf no longer issues letters on accessories as of January , thats probably whey sb tactical doesn't give one with their braces.
