Live fact checking needs to be included in these debates. NOBODY WATCHES THESE after show fact checking segments and the GOP knows this, no offense. We need to be able to come back. Those lies as soon as they are spoken not after the fact, that’s not gonna help anything.

It is absolutely possible, and it doesn’t need to be up to the moderators. Just as they have chirons with the question on the bottom portion of the screen, a chiron with a fact check could be provided in real time. The moderators know what the questions are going to be ahead of time, having two “fact checkers” to provide accuracy to claims made while the participants are speaking would not be difficult in any way. The fact checkers could be either from the same organization or a third party organization not affiliated with either party represented.
Sorry, not sorry. The people watching the debate should be fact checking on their own. When you start to only listen to news outlets you start to lose the fundamentals of this election. The American people shouldn't be feed from the news but from actual facts. Do your own research.

Why are Democrats against measures for voter ID confirmation and other means to make sure only legal, eligible US Citizens can vote and other measures to make our elections more secure? I want Democrats to explain why they keep focusing on January 6th, which is not even near the top of the list for most Americans in this election. Not to mention, Trump said to “peacefully” protest the election results in which he had every right under the Constitution to challenge. I can answer as to why the Dems keep focusing on Jan 6, and it is because it’s all they have.
If I were to use boxing as an analogy, I would say both had some nice punches throughout the fight, it was a clean fight, but than at the end Walz lands a crushing right hook and lays Vance out. That's the moment everyone will remember
