Patrina Copeland well middle or low she's a classy lady, elegance is not an acquired character by just being rich, elegance and being sophisticated is a disposition which Kate has.
Patrina Copeland no in england that’s the home of a very comfortable off family. Would cost over a millions ££s. Remember the Middletons were decedents of Edward lll.
If you read this carefully .....this is the house that Kate spent some of her childhood where the Middleton's started their business they moved and now live in what I imagine is a bigger house that has never been seen by the public.....their business is extremely successfull and the family all helped out at times......Kate went to a wonderful school one of the best girsl schools in England.......she would have met lots of friends of William and Harry there.......Kate is everything and more that anyone would expect from very nice and extremely well educated English girl......extremely suitable to be the future Queen of England.......he couldn't have made a better choice.....I wish them all the happiness in the world
Patrina Copeland Meghan is very well educated with two degrees from excellent university and she’s very smart. It’s not important what you have , it’s important who you are.
Very nice now let’s take a tour of Meghan Markles childhood home. Probably has an old sofa and some kitchen chairs on the front porch. Oh and be sure to bring a Keplar vest in case of a drive by. Wow has the royal family become less royal. Kate is very much a princess and beautiful. What’s wrong with Harry?
@Jo Angela: Carole Middleton lived with her parents in a council house (at Southall, generally a respectable surburban town then in the County of Middlesex but now in the County of Greater London) rather than in 'government housing'. The house, at that time, was owned by the local authority, the Municipal Borough of Southall. Incidentally, both of Catherine Middleton's parents are of royal descent; her mother from King Edward IV of England and her father several descents from King Edward III of England. William and Catherine are in fact 12th cousins once-removed, by way of Sir Thomas Leighton (c.1530-1610) soldier, politician and Governor of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. They also are 11th cousins once-removed, by way of Sir William Blakiston (1562-1641), of Gibside, in County Durham. Michael Middleton descends also from several noble families; and is related to William Petty-FitzMaurice (1737-1805), 1st Marquis of Lansdowne and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Great Britain in 1782 and 1783. Carole Middleton is a distant cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, by way of Elizabeth II's maternal line.
Exactly - the house is nice but it’s her parents and extended family that matter. They seem to all really love and support one another. That’s what matters.
This is not humble. I don't know why they keep saying this is humble. Humble to me is working class. This is solidly middle-class. And charming and well-kept and cozy. I love this house! I can see Catherine having great memories from her life here.
Well it certainly doesn't qualify as humble. It's a spacious two floor home with a fireplace and big yard! Maybe if you grew up in a place like this it might not seem all that impressive but to someone like me who grew up in a small one bedroom apartment with no yard to play in, it's pretty damn impressive! I would have killed to have a home like this growing up. Though from the outside it looks like one of those old haunted houses. But I think many homes in England look like that.
someone wrote- It's actually a semi detached home so a condo in essence I guess or townhome. The house is big but it's split into two different families. I thought the same thing I I thought wow that's a huge house but it's because it's actually split Kate's family lived on one end and another family look on the other that's why it's called humble
@Dawn taylor oh wow 😮 my comment was six years ago. I was so young, so full of life, not yet knew what it felt like to have someone rip your heart out into a million pieces and need two years to recover from. Good times👍
They did have one Milion dollars after they made money with their business. They started it themselves and Kate helped with it as well as was a Model. One very lovely family!
Carol Weaver, Oh really? Meghan has always conducted herself as the classy Lady that she is. Kate, not so sure about? Pics if her that I saw when she modeled, were a bit burlesque? All the unkind talk about Meghan being an actress, while some seem to overlook the fact that Kate was also in the entertainment realm🤔
@@patrinacopeland265 I know Kate was young once upon a time, but nothing bad done. Not married before and Queen material, but what is biggest is how she conducts herself 'now' and 'follows rules' and' not trying to change things'. It has worked well and the family got along beautifully for so long now and we do not need any problems. , She must just go along and learn right now, ( she is very new in the country and family) how things are done. It takes time to adjust, especially coming from the Unites States, and this life is all totally new and different living . She must be very careful. Not very many really wants this to fail but we do not want her upsetting the applecart and disturbing the family that has done very well for hundreds and hundreds of years. Changing things, never worked well for Princes Diana. Meghan is beautiful and makes a lovely Duchess as does Duchess Kate. But we certainly must see how Duchess Kate is doing, as she should as she has much on her plate. The future King is in her care and it is not easy. But they ALL must do quite the same. . Actually this is all silly to comment or waste our breath as most people will not listen to truth even if things are true and on other hand the things said may not be true, at all on these video's. You can only believe perhaps half. Some like to argue, and some just want something to do. We can pray that all goes well and that is all anyone can do. Being confined would be very hard for her so if they travel and do things with people seeing them, I do thing things might just go well? If it is their job to be an advocate with the public, it may work well to travel?
Carol Weaver Carol, Meghan carries herself with dignity and class, which is much more than some of the "royals" have done. It is people who know nothing of the private day to day goings on with royals who love to spew lies about Meghan, and hope to cause negative feelings, and a lot of ignorant controversies. Kate was not born "queen material". No so called "commoner" is! Kate for all of her expensive clothes, expensive makeup, people pampering her, and being at her beck and call, she is made to look good. There were many who did not approve of her for William. She was of modest means, from a background of poor ancestry. The Queen has been patient with her, and has made sure that she doesn't fall into those "mistakes" that bought Diana tumbling down😔. Meghan does not break any "royal rules or protocols". Meghan is an intelligent young woman full of poise and decency. She has been taught well by her own Mother. Meghan is a much needed and much welcomed asset to her new family. It is the outsiders (Those non royals) who try to portray her in a negative light. It stems from a type of deep seated hatred and jealousy! There are many things in that "hundreds of years" system that is broken, and this newer generation is working progressively to make much needed improvements. Harry and Meghan operate from love, even though many in England (non royals) operate from hate. I find that so many of you overlooked Diana's bad deeds only because was caucasian, and that part of her, entitled her to be uplifted and supported, even when she was making a mockery of that "hundreds of years" old system. Interesting that you people applaud Kate for working as a model, but condemn Meghan for working as an actress. Interesting how you people approve of Kate for going after William, but condemn Meghan for honestly meeting Harry on a blind date. Interesting how you people approve of Kate for showing off her newborns hours after giving birth, but scandalized Meghan for allowing herself and Harry time to enjoy the newest of parenthood in a private manner. If Meghan had of come out just hours after giving birth, you hypocrites would have called her attention seeking. The real issue for you people is that Meghan is a gorgeous, intelligent, kind, and s
Good grief - CNN can't get their information correct. Michael Middleton was not a pilot. He was a flight attendant, same as Carole. He was later promoted to a dispatcher.
You please get your information correct......Kate's father is a pilot......now retired......do you have special information that the media doesn't have......I don't think so
Humble beginnings - ha ha, don't make me laugh !! You could fit my home into that 5 times - now that's humble !! In fact the shed is bigger than my house.
My Frugal Raggy Life - there will always be someone with more than you and with less than you; there will always be someone taller or shorter etc etc run your own race! " the world is full of a number of things I am sure we should all be as happy as kings" Robert Louis Stevenson
I think 'how large or spacious' this house might appear depends on what country you live in & what type neighborhood & home you're used to. Where I come from, this home would be classified as older middle class, meaning, you purchase it for approx. $130K with an additional $60K going towards renovations to 'modernize' it. Then everyone living in the house, including the dog & cat have jobs in order to help pay for it. Of course it would be foolish to pay it off & eliminate a great tax deduction
You mean 450, 000 to 500, 000 certainly not 130, 000. In my country 130 000 would be a small house, one bedroom and that was thirty years ago. Now these one bed home's are selling at five times the original purchase price. Three bed, four bed cost's one million upwards. Believe me it's ridiculous and price's are soaring here. Especially when you want to live in an nice area.
Yes, it’s a very nice home :: compared to the Palace: that she now lives in. What a difference. It’s not the home It’s what is in side of a person. If , you take away all of the money The servants the servants security that they must haves And the Titles that must come with this. You , will never ever have your freedom like it was before. So , I don’t know if I would want to have this Kind of lifestyle. Because you are constantly being looked at all the time. You never have a feel moment to yourself That freedom is now gone for good
You obviously grew up in a big comfortable home so you don't get to judge on what we lower income people consider big. Just consider yourself one of the lucky ones.
This is humble? 🤣 grew up in government housing, that’s humble. This is a lovely, beautiful middle class home. The Middletons are a hard working, classy, good family. ❤
Dwightinho56: They both also descend from mediaeval kings of England. Incidentally, WIlliam and Catherine are 11th cousins once-removed and 12th cousins once-removed, by way of various ancestors. Catherine's mother, Carole Middleton, is a distant cousin of Queen Elizabeth II.
I’m sorry, but Kate is the best 👍 not like her Sister in Law, what like to be the mittle point 😢 she is down to earth....Kate it is 👍❤️ Prince William really took the perfect Wife 👍❤️ and not a arrogant troubled woman.... like her Sister in Law ...✋
with baggage? He worked as a Flight Dispatcher at Operational Control and had the authority to divert, delay or cancel a flight - give him a break. Now they are self-made millionaires - so give him a second break :)
he was a flight attendant before being a dispatcher. They didnt become multi millionair because of their business but because he inherited from his grand father ppl r writing
British houses suck. I mean you pay £315,000(around $500,000) for a pretty small house and in the U.S you can get a big house with a pool in a nice neighborhood for around that price.
John M It does depend where you live as we don't all live in London. Also we are only a small island so only so much space. Im in Yorkshire and lovely 3 bed and large sun room and family flown so plenty room for one.
Not really always, it DEPENDS on the area, 50k house can be very small in US also, in good areas, they dont even exist, thats too little money to be in a good area
Oh,ffs, lol. This is where Kate would eat, this is where Kate slept......what next? This is where Kate took a dump? And that house certainly does not scream 'humble' at me.Nor did Kate come from 'humble beginings'.Her mother's ancestors were of humble beginings but most of us did come from less salubrious conditions so why single out her ancestry?
Tiny, non-descript house but for a family starting out with nothing, this is what you would expect as these are self made folks...the area and grounds look beautiful however, and that would be the best part. It looks run down now, but maybe back then it looked more polished.
How many people live in the house? And, of these people, how many are 11-yr.-old girls, 14-yr.-old boys, or 2-yr. olds of either gender? Gotta figure how much space the people take up before you can decide whether the house is large enough!
well she is a tradesman's daughter. But tradesman or not, if I were Michael Middleton I'm not sure I'd want my daughter marrying into a family of doubtful morality descended from the wrong side of the blanket numerous times over
William the Conqueror the Queen's ancestor was illegitimate, the Queen's Tudor ancestors were illegitimate, and there are so many other illegitimate persons of whom the Windsors are direct descendants they are too numerous to mention (the Borgias are also ancestors of the Windsors.) Business people are tradespeople, but the Middletons would appear to be of pure legitimate stock, and so higher born than the Windsors or the Spencers
Is nothing private these days? I realise it's not the Middleton family home now but even so, it's just invasion of privacy. Whether it's past or present is irrelevant 🤷
