This sunday was an absolute BLAST! In this video, i show you how i go about training and working with an upcoming MD and a more in depth view of how we interact on stage as a team with multiple cameras! Also, this sunday marks my 10 years of encountering Jesus at my first youth camp held by my church on January 22-25, 2013. My life was never the same.

Firstly, great job as a team. Sometimes it's tough to recover after a road bump like tempo differences or wrong chords/notes. But for you guys to press through and for you to think on your feet during those moments, it's a blessing to see. Aside from the click. It looks like you and the one you're training (she's doing a good job by the way) are giving verbal cues. Is this because you are watching signals from the song leaders? I mean I can see how built in cues can limit how free and spontaneous a worship team can be.

hey bro, im from a smaller church in Canada called Hope City Church (abbotsford). We have lots of led pars but theyre just static the whole service, what do you guys do to control yours? Lightkey, board with a light tech, etc. thanks!

good that you are directing, but doesn't that hinder you on focusing on WORSHIPPING? it looks you are more more focused on technicalities and looks like just showing off

It takes alot of time and sacrifice Music Directing. I'm pretty sure if he wanted to, he could just focus on "worshipping" but worship is far more than that. He's worshipping God through sacrifice, practice, and excellence. I'm sure God is well pleased with his sacrifice. Worshipping doesn't happen on stage. It happens even before that. It happens even at the point of preparation. I've heard worship is a way of living

That’s a big call to make man. Bro’s right ^ worship also looks like excellence, focus and preparation before ever stepping on a stage. Man looks at the appearance whilst God looks at the heart. What may seem like “showing off” to you may very well be something you’re misinterpreting. Worship isn’t necessarily raised hands and closed eyes. Worship is also the positioning of your heart. Besides if the team wasn’t focussed on what they were playing, how distracted would the congregation be because the set is a complete mess? I know I couldn’t concentrate on worship if everybody was playing the wrong thing and out of time with each other 🤷

worship isnt only limited to having eyes closed and hands raised on stage mate. Worship is a lifestyle. You questioning if someone’s worshipping based on their appearance is something that you should be questioning yourself as if you look at Romans 12:1 says that worship is to offer our bodies as living sacrifices that is holy and pleasing unto him. Psalms 33:3 Also says to Rejoice and play skillfully.
