Co Op, New Map, HUGE UPDATE - Medieval Dynasty Is Changing 

This game needs more modding support. This will catapult it to success if it does.

Love this chilling game! Done it 2 times, my favorite game during the pandemic. I would like to see more NPC and travellers outside of towns to make it more alive, assign an construction job for villagers to help building our houses and structures, and carts for bringing stuff. New map is really welcome!

I hope they work a little bit on the combat and enemies cause it's a little too peaceful to me

I hope that they will make this conversation more wonderful by adding tasks and activities that the player can either do with his friends or without them in the event that he does not have friends and add a transportation system, a combat system and a law that prevents crime and the possibility of buying lands and a variety of clothes in order for the professional players who have become masters to be distinguished from the new players Who are considered peasants This will give the game life and not die

This is awesome. Great game, beautiful, immersive, but just chill solo. A brand new map and Co-Op now would be such a cool experience.

Wish bannerlord had this, like a personal fief/village you could build/upgrade and defend from attacks kinda like bandit hideouts but yours.

This is one of my favorite survival games and I'm excited for this update. Also excited for the sengoku one. I wish the wild west was better made like medevil.

I hope someday they make an update on waging war with another town or kingdom.

co op sounds fun, wish i had friends

well, don't get me wrong, A lovely video, thanks for the info, hadn't heard about the upcoming changes... but a video is a bit misleading. A 9:40 video with less than 3:00 of the adverted content; the rest is filled with simple game play. Hm. checky mate.

Love this game but This game need lots to upgrade..they need to add a kingdom or a capital city or watever ..or some soldiers patrol around the village..they need more side quest and made the main quest little longer…

Just picked this game up due to the steam summer sale and I love it so far! So I'm pretty excited to hear coop could be a possibility 😄

I really wish that they would make a Kingdom version where you are the King and can go to war with other Countries, etc.

Expanding this game would be amazing. Id love to see a new area or 2. I'd be happy loading in to a new map if we could keep our original map and build. Imagine pissing off the king and being called in front of him and actually going to the castle on horse back, maybe crossing the battle field to see him that you helped supply. Trade cart to other areas or even a raid by Vikings exc on your village. Nevermind the extra npc stuff and other bits fleshed out. Would love to see smaller mud paths or cobbles more furniture would be cool to

With the announcement of co-op all my friends who weren't interested are now suddenly interested haha I think this update if done well will be huge for the game

They need more combat imo

Game is nice but has no late game content whatsoever. I don't think it is ready for co-op but it is what it is. What the game needed before co-op was more content: - new harder and varied missions for the king - more enemies, better combat - more exploration (map is big, but there is no incentive to actually explore once your village is established and you have a mine) - ways to spend money (currently it is just a number, when the village is self sufficient money is worthless) - quality of life improvements like crop rotation, limits to sell/buy goods and production so you don't have to constantly micro-manage your village which is tedious as it grows - maybe some research tree so you can add donkeys/horses to the farms to increase production, or to the market to sell more/faster, carts... - equipment is purely cosmetic, you can use the same clothes all year round and be fine. would be nice to have armors, harsher weather, etc and so on having co-op on a game that is dead the moment your village is self-sufficient isn't going to make it that much better And again, the game is nice, has quite some hours of engaging gameplay, but late game is extremely lacking to say the least.

For me, this is a boring game. In itself a good idea but somehow it plays boring. Your villagers work and have animations but they are bored themselves. Everyone moves like it's a hot day. You are mostly busy running and running and getting from a to b and running.

I hope we get churches, schools and "Dr. Offices" things like that

We need a update that will bring in the millitia so we can make our villigars soldiers to protect the town

there is a reason why the other "Dynasty" games are not so great. You are confusing the developers with the publishers. The developers are the ones who actually create the game. The developers of medieval dynasty did not make those other games. It's the publisher who slaps the "dynasty" title on all of these games to try to force some unified brand identity. it's pretty much a miracle that one of those developer groups happened to be pretty good at their jobs. The dynasty games have nothing to do with each other and the developers of the other games are nowhere near as competent (or possibly don't give a crap and are just cashing a check).

Medieval dynasty is one of the best survival games to release gorgeous graphics in depth management not many games can say they do this and from such a small developer

Iirc, the map is solely for co-op mode. The original game has regular updates and additions/ improvements, but this is really more of a seperate version.

In my opinion biggest mechanic that needs to be reworked for replay purposes is combat system. That is next on the road map but I really hope it evolves to more than just a hack and slash. Something simple as chivalry 2 but not as complex as kingdom come deliverance I am not complaining if that is the decision they decide to make. Loved kingdom come deliverance !!!!

I've been waiting for this for so long. Haven't been this excited for an update since burning crusade ngl.

Can I turn off this dumb update? My game has been ruined! I've been playing two weeks, much to learn, enjoying the game even after 2 false starts then suddenly wham! Wild animals have gone utterly crazy - now I can't hunt or wander around the forests. Prices are nerfed too. Bummer since I'm not interested in playing the new map or multiplayer version.

As much as I'd love to play this game, the lack of any real combat or war mechanics makes it a bit too boring for me. I've played enough Valheim to know that I always end up burnt out and bored once there's no more danger or exploration to do. I wish there was a game that's a mix of Dynasty and Mount&Blade out there. Create your dynasty from scratch and in the endgame defend it from invaders. But I guess I'm asking for too much.

lol I do have friends, but at a age of 58 they would kind of look at me as a alien if i asked them to play with me. 🙂

Hopefully they add a musician for in the bar so npc will dance when they in the building and humeur goes up too. They is no entertainment for the villagers.

I love the atmosphere in MD, it remind me of Skyrim which I have roamed for almost 2000 hours, just because the the world feels so wonderful to just be around. And now we will be able to do stuff with friends :3 OMG

This game needs other stuff not co op. It'd be too ez with co op and then you'd be done with it in one week. We need many more buildings and at least some bandit attacks and guard hiring etc...

Coop would be fun, until your friend decided to deconstruct your buildings just for fun. 😂😂 Hoping we can build bridges now and rotate/reorient farms now. Building farm being locked (directions) is kinda annoying.

I played this game last couple of weeks. I really like it, but have one major complaint: prices are in need of a rehaul. It should not be easy to get the best backpack, pouch and bow the first year. And, items locked behind buildings, technology or hard-to-obtain ingredients must be far more profitable. It's quite disheartening to make more money from sticks and stones than high-level crafting.

still pisses me off how it’s only Xbox x/s Microsoft know there are still lots of people are still on old gen and now are forcing developers to make next gen only just to push us to buy the next gen consoles

I just bought the game last week, and I stupidly chopped 1000 wood for a mission. Boy was that a long and tedious. But I love the game and look forward to more content cant wait....

I kinda wish they would let us assign horses to villagers, i prefer to havr the houses altogether, so it would be helpful if my miners had horses for a faster commute to and from the mines

I play this on PS5, and honestly this is the best damn thing I've encountered in years. CoOp will be huge....All I hope is Twitch idiots don't find this and just ruin it like they do with every other game they destroy.

I'm both excited & upset about the new co-op mode. Just got my grandfather into the game & it's going to be awesome playing alongside him. The downside is that we both have large settlements built in single-player that we'll probably have to leave behind.

Not even one minute in and you're singing the praises of how immersive the atmosphere was. Just to announce now finally with coop. But nothing ruins your immersion more than another dude walking around like a player instead of an NPC. Interacting with a player always pulls you out from the game world back into the real world.
