always cool to learn of players and their various projects and memberships in bands...... it seems to be rare in this genre and outside USA that players on albums are listed. I presume it may be an agreement on contracts that players can choose lump sum and not be listed, or choose royalties and be listed? Growing up in a realm heavy with analytical listening, hearing a particular player and finding him/her listed on sleeve or jacket of LP's/CD's is certainly of benefit to the band they're playing with when you discover their name. Two Colombian bands I have a rather passionate appreciation for---Fruko y sus Tesos and those projects of thermonuclear percussionst/producer Diego Gale---for some reason don't list players. In Fruko's case, it could be because he's a virtuoso on all the instruments :) But the personnel listing for Diego's "Quinto Mayor"? Haven't found one yet..... even on their live DVD...... although having found somewhere that some of the band live in America, others in Colombia, being able to find gigs or concerts with any of them would be really great.

@@LPYT eso es mentira ustedes en toda la historia de la música cubana no han hecho sino propender por la apropiación cultura, el del quinto terminó con la misma retórica que hicieron a lo que le llamaron "salsa" así no se hace el Guarapachangueo, es mejor que vayan al oriente de Cuba y conozcan a los chinitos y vean que es realmente y porque en una rumba de cajon incorporan el Guarapachangúeo y no solo se basa en la rumba sino en toda su historia con el Afro y el Són en Cuba, la manera de quintear lo hace quien maneja toda esa historia musical.en su cuerpo. LP solo dedíquesen a construir instrumentos y dejen de confundir a la gente fuera de Cuba explicando cosas de Cuba, es hasta demandable
