Love seeing smart kids. This dude is 15 and already knows so much more than I do, and he's got an entire decade of neuraplastic time left to grow his brain even further. Tomorrow belongs to the kids and that's the way it should be. We old people are rusted and stagnant, innovation, change and ultimately progress comes from the youth.
Very nice flight Ross! You are right a liquid charge can significantly increase the operating of the motor. Is it an Gasparin's motor ? Any case, bravo.
@HENRY FORSTER Sorry for taking so long to reply, I never got the notification for some reason. You can buy Co2 engines on Ebay, but the small ones get real expensive. Thankfully all of the engines I have access to my dad owns, as he collected them when they were more common and a bit cheaper! He actually has that V-12, as well as a 4 cylinder inline, and a 9 cylinder rotary as well as the 9 cylinder radial. Maybe sometime I'll get some video of them running.
Yeah, I featured Josh in a few of my videos: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y36-4BM-bF8.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KVbtIdmYKUg.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JsJeVz_EreY.html
To my knowledge, they are not commercially available and they are very rare to find at this scale. If I remember correctly, Ross’ father knew the gentleman who made these amazingly-tiny things and has a number of these himself.
Yeah, a little binge watching never hurt anybody... Um, I think... Maybe?... Well, we’re not sure. Ok folks, just to be safe. This can be our PSA. Amazing plane engine, What is the link of the other video? it is not in the description....I would like to know how to get one engine.....and where? Any info is appreciated... Thanks for share the video.
When I was younger there were several companies making CO2 motors but seems to be only one now? I converted several rubber powered free flight modes to CO2 power and they flew much better. Interesting fact.. the fins on the cylinder head are to absorb heat not to cool the motor.
Nice thing. But I need to specify, that Czechoskovakia doesn't exist since 1993. Now it's only Slovakia and Czekia, two different but familiar states in central Europe.
