CO2 (R744) Refrigeration for Riverford Organics | Panasonic & LU-VE 

In this project, Keep It Cool Refrigeration installed a 36kW CO2 system in a butchery for Riverford Organic Farmers in Devon.
Four 10HP condensing units from Panasonic will supply three new cold rooms. With a focus on energy-saving, the project includes evaporators with EC fans from LU-VE as well as EEVs and MPXPRO controllers from CAREL.
By switching to R744, this project could reduce monthly running costs by between 50 and 80%. And in the event of a leak, it will save an estimated 116,000 kg CO2e compared to an equivalent R452A system (the cost of refrigerant is cut by around £2750 as well)
