The mic quality is fine. There’s no real point in me commenting this, but I see she’s addressed it in later videos, but if she only had one mic to work with, she should have sat in the centre and pointed it at the speaker at any given time I do agree with the background music. The interview could’ve worked without it, or at least lower it to the point where it’s not noticeable
