People sleep on coach but they have some of the best leather around, especially the older ones; better than some of those high luxury brands. Only paying or the name.
So many people sleep on Coach but I must admit that I own a Chanel bag and I rarely reach for it. I always go for one of my Coach bags😍 Thanks for keeping it real about which one is better.
Tanner Leatherstein's channel really made me realize just how amazing Coach really is he never has anything negative to say about the brand. He has with higher brands though.
Coach has amazing quality that leaves contemporary Chanel writhing in the dust. I purchased a green quilted Coach Madison recently and I am awed at the quality standards.
I’ve always said that Coach has better quality than LV and Chanel. However, Coach has a branding issue and for years has been in desperate need of rebranding. They need to hire a whole new marketing team who can reintroduce the brand properly to the market. The fact that other luxury brands are positioned higher than Coach although Coach has better quality is a shame.
This might sound backwards but I think coach has better quality but isn't considered a luxury brand because of the price point. We place value on things that aren't easily attained. If they raised there prices they would loose some buyers initially but they would gain the premium label I believe. And as you mentioned marketing as well could help. Affordability doesn't always deem something to be valued. I like coach but even if I resale because they are so low to begin with its no profit. Lv and Chanel are considered luxury because their price point sets them apart and hold there resale value because of this🤷🏽♀️ Doesn't make it right but it's how we view things that are expensive (valuable) in our society even if they aren't quality Me personally I like and own all types ,coach,dior,fendi ,Chanel , LV etc
Totally agree with you. I have a few Coach bags. I also have Chanel, Prada, LV and dior bags. Coach bags really have good leather quality. It can totally be compared to those high end designer brands. Too bad their branding suck especially that they also sell their bags at outlet malls. This brings down their brand.
Coach leather is ALWAYS the most durable! I love Coach leather!! Chanel is really just for the label. But both companies will fix unraveled stitching it’s an automatic warranty with your purchase, love that part
Quality vs. name any day. Coach is an original OG for us 80’s gals. You were the shit if you had a coach bucket bag! 😂 I’m definitely going to purchase the coach- or Karl Lagerfeld for $75!
Both bags are very beautiful. Which one is worth it depends on the owner. Also, the price point and whether it was purchased new or used is a consideration. I have a mix of high-medium-low level luxury bags. Personally myself I decided to stop buying Coach bags unless they were either on sale or came out of the outlet stores. Not paying full price for a bag that I can purchase used from someone in perfect condition for less than a $100. But I hold onto my bags anyway. Also, the Chanel might have a better resale value. But again, I'm not trying to sell any of my bags. You have to make your own personal choice.
I had the coach bag on a wait-list in pink for a year!!!...now it's avail in purple in purple as well as back...so I guess I'll go ahead n purchase my coach purse...
The Coach bag is beautiful. Happy to hear that their quality it good. That was not my experience with a 2019 purchase, so I hope this means they have gotten better.
I can't remember the name of the guy, but he does high-end leather comparisons on Tik Tok, and he always gave high reviews to Coach as a better quality leather and construction of their products. Always & 4ever Coach for the WIN!!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I had to look to see who Coach’s creative director was. He’s from England, his name is Stuart Vevers. His first job was at Calvin Klein, followed by Bottega Veneta, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Mulberry and Loewe, where he was before Coach tapped him. I am loving the direction he has taken Coach. It was stale for at least a decade. Great look❤
I feel you! It's best to have options You know with Chanel your getting something that won't depreciates if you ever wanted to resale and coach you get the quality so you might wear it with worrying if you have to replace it because of the price
I’ve never stopped being a coach fan. There’s a guy who takes the name brand bags apart and shows the quality and Chanel has sucked so much for the price of their bags! He always gives coach great reviews and says the quality for the $$ is unbeatable
Chanel quality has slipped in the last 10 years, at this point you are only paying for the cachet, the flex and the re-sale value, if that's your thing fair enough, but give me a COACH any day.
