Ive had a coach slim billfold wallet for the past 10+ years. It is brown stippled leather on the front, blue leather on the interior and has nice bill area with lining like the inside of a coach purse. Unfortunately, in the past 10 years it has found its self in the washer a few times and the detergent destroyed the leather. She's still holding strong but I just ordered another coach wallet to replace her. Ive tried putting the coach conditioning leather product on it to bring back the luster but she I think she is time for retirement. Def a wallet i recommend and have loved all these years. Shame I couldn't find one exactly like her anymore.

I've had mine for 10 years now. (Mine says made in India) The durability on Coach wallets is amazing really. Up until this wallet I probably replaced them about every 3 years. I've also got a few compliments on the Coach, never on any other wallet. The ladies notice. ;)

Why is the wallet not even folded? One end sticks out further. Is that normal or is that part the wear? Nice review of SLG. Never had coach, but have the tiaga leather LV monologue Antarctic white and cobalt blue. Both LV wallets are awesome. I also have the Mont Blanc sartorial blue, Bottega Veneta intraceato black and blue inside leather and Rolex green wallet. All great wallets.

I paid around $500 for a Christian Dior and had it for years... when it finally wore out I decided to buy something cheap but interesting.. since then I've bought inexpensive handmade Moroccan leather wallets. I now find their imperfections and old world leathering kind of charming. You can find them for $10-20.. but lots of imitation and super poor quality ones being passed off as the genuine handmade ones from Morocco (really crappy ones being sold on Amazon)

Yeah you can't ever compare a Coach wallet to a Louis Vuitton lol nothing wrong with Coach but a Louis Vuitton has superior quality by a million miles. They don't bend at the edges like that Coach wallet. I have a Louis Vuitton Multiple wallet and it has 7 slots for cards including under pockets and you can double up on two of the slots plus two bill compartments and it does hold a good amount of bills. if the wallet is full, it also doubles up as a money clip because you can just fold the money and fold the wallet on top of it and it won't fall out unless you open it. Good review though.

Louie Vuitton has been having some major quality issues lately. Die hard fans are selling their LV bcuz LV is just simply not standing by their product any more. Go to a Coach Flagship store. You would never know that their product is manufactured overseas. Oh and did you know that this LV French designer you praise is now manufacturing their products in USA. And from some comments I've read on RU-vid USA quality is outdoing France. But still the consumer refuse to purchase USA LV products. Can't say I blame them. If I buy a French purse with a phenomenal price tag darn it better be 100% French. I'd rather be a smart shopper than an over payer.

+EddaElid I beg to differ. This guys Louis Vuitton wallet took 6 years to start falling apart lol I don't know how old his Coach wallet is but it already looked run down. I have two Damier multiple Louis Vuitton wallets and in terms of materials, feel, and durability, Louis Vuitton is just on a whole different level but Coach products are great too. I'm not trying to say Coach is trash. I have a Coach belt that I wear as a daily and it is awesome!

+red88alert I wasn't aware the LV wallet you mentioned was leather. The only LV wallets I've purchased have been in canvas. They didn't last too long. After 3 years, the glaze chipped off and once that happened the canvas cracked a year after. Once the canvas cracked the wallet was non functional. I do have a vintage wallet from Coach ( I stole it from my mom) and while she has a few more scars, a little conditioning brings her back to life. After all these years the leather has not cracked and is still intact. I recently brought her to a Coach store to have it conditioned and the SA got a kick out of her. They have heard the vintage Coach wallets were workhorses but to see one in person was a treat for them. Two weeks later they gave me my wallet back and I was shocked how gorgeous she turned out. I almost felt guilty about stealing her, almost. I guess I wasn't being fair comparing a leather wallet from the 1970's to a canvas wallet from the1990's.

I have both Louis Vuitton and Coach. Louis Vuitton DID bend the edges like that on their old model Multiple Wallets that were all-leather and many other all-leather models. LV only did painted edges on their CANVAS wallets up until a few years ago. Also, my Coach has held up better than any of my LV wallets, and I have 3 LV wallets and one Coach.

First, off the bending vs non bending part... You are comparing a plastized wallet vs a real leather wallet. Nice try though.

Dang, I just use a Calvin Klein one that was like $40. Feels like high quality leather too and has more functionality than a LV. +iBeTonyy Nothing wrong with that. Fossil makes some really nice wallets too. The one you have on your link is nice as well. To your point, if people can get over having a certain brand bias there are a lot of nicer choices out there than the traditional high end brands.
