Well thanks for helping me with the Samsung thermostat. I read the damn instruction six times and still didn't tell me what to do. So thanks again.. Honestly I'd rather have the old fashioned Honeywell Mercury round thermostat. If anyone out there remembers those old thermostats they were 10 times easier
Thank you this was very helpful. Would be nice if instructions came with the unit re the thermostat and the unit itself...i.e. how to change filter, troubleshooting, maintenance schedule. Considering the cost written materials are expected but not provided.
We just had ours installed... you have to get to the super secret "service" mode. To get there, you have to push and hold the up and down buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds, then enter the super secret code. (ours is 0202). Then you can change from F to C, in one of the sub menus. Why this relatively basic function is hidden behind the "service" mode access is beyond me!
I need help, I have this very same model in my apt. It keeps changing the temp on me, on its own. I had it set to 68, it keeps reverting to 72. After I lower the temp to 68, 5 seconds later, it flips right back to 72. I've tried hitting all kinds of buttons & cannot figure this thing out. We're in the middle of a heatwave here, heat index is 104, 72 is too warm for us. The apt bldg manager keeps saying it's a Samsung issue...I just don't get it. All I want to do is not sweat.
