Hi there Between the location for views or sports, the property style and the buzz of #Carlingford itself, its hard to go wrong! Thank you for commenting! Kindest regards Michael Lavelle Estate Agents
First off, I love Ireland. This is a nice home but I wonder why bedrooms don’t have built-in closet space. Ditto for the downstairs - where do people hang their coats, etc when they come in?
They use “ward robes” which is like a giant cabinet..yeah I prefer built ins but this cottage is so beautiful I could deal with not having closets hahaha location alone makes it worth it
@Shellagh. You have to keep in mind that when these old cottages were built, the average person had only a few outfits. They were stored in a chest of drawers and/or a wardrobe. Closets for clothes were not a necessity back then plus they would have taken up far too much space in what is already a small building. I was born in, and spent my childhood in England, until we moved to the US. Needless to say, my parent's wardrobe did not move with us!
Hello Fawn! It's a beautiful area... we fully agree! You know where we are if you ever decide to move!! Thank you for tuning in....and plenty more on the way! Kindest regards Michael Lavelle Estate Agents
Hi Sharon How are you? Thank you for commenting and tuning in. We place the price in the description box along with a link back to the home on our website. Say for example if we say the price within the video presentation itself and there is a price adjustment then it's cumbersome to try to reshoot a tour. So maybe we'll mention where to find the price in our future tours as a pointer. Thanks again and stay tuned ok? Well put that feature in. Many kind regards Michael Lavelle Estate Agents
This is a lovely property, very „neutral“ for any buyer to put their stamp on it. Do Irish houses have basements? I only noticed that there are no doors to the cellar.
How are you? Its would be an exception rather than any sort of a norm here in Ireland to have a basement. We're talking 99.99% without! Kindest regards J
A beautiful property and lovely views. Would it be possible to close kitchen off to the living area with doors as that was the only thing I wasn't so keen on

Hi Connie, People would use a storage area to 'air' clothes - usually near a water heating tank for added cosiness and we would know this as a hotpress/storage area Thank you for commenting and viewing ! Kindest Regards JL
Hi Joyce, The exchange rate with American Dollar and Euro is practically on a par at the moment. Are you thinking about a purchase in Ireland? Kindest regards Michael Lavelle Estate Agents
There's plenty of room to add storage. I work for a moving company and most times people accumulate much more than they ever use. This becomes apparent when having to move it.
