Watching this in 2019, and I’ve just realized how much it has changed.

Call it the Black Dungeon!! Or some kind of dark torture theme: Blackreach Dungeon, Darknight Dungeon. Or to stick the the Harry Potter theme and go with: *Azkaban Blackout!*

I've been wanting someone to do an indoor rollercoaster in PC for weeks! Glad to see someone finally doing it!

I absolutely love seeing all the things Planet Coaster already has to offer! Your entertaining commentary makes watching it even better! ^.^

I love it! Finally a Planet Coaster Rollercoaster that lasts more than 15 seconds.😂 The coaster is what I imagine being the love child of the X:/ No Way Out Rollercoaster (before it was rebranded) and Saw at Thorpe Park! Can't wait to see the end result!

the indoor ride at Thorpe Park is Amazing!!!!

I bought rct2 last week, and when I build a coaster I end up building a city around it with modular buildings. It takes forever but it's so much fun and it turns out great in the end.

Man the more I watch videos for this the more I want this game. I just really hope when they actually go about and add water rides into the game they integrate them more like how real theme parks have water rides compared to how RCT3 handled them because that annoyed me so much in RCT3. Also my name suggestion for this one: "Black Beard's Revenge" sounds appropriate for a dark ride in my opinion.

the warehouse type look of buildings is what planet coaster needs to put in as its the most common in real life and realistic. the themes are used in real life too but not everywere

Ragnarok! Some of the pirate and castle items could be construed to be Viking-ish and would work well with your vision of multiple rooms as well as the coaster design itself. :) Good luck on your plane! My knees ache for you.

i love building dark rides. Heavily themed rides beat most generic rides. From what I've seen in the alpha this game is going to be awesome. I want to see some haunted rides.

I'd LOVE for you to eventually do a section of a park, maybe even later when there is more features. to have a "Once Upon A Time" theme. I love that show and I remember you occasionally saying something about the show too. I think it would be a really cool idea! I don't know, just a suggestion, but I'd love it! I could see you building castles and everything! Love your videos James!

My idea for a name is Pirate mountain due to exterior and this really reminds me of space mountain for some reason

Here's an idea for the coaster: Cannon Fire and theme it to be a nighttime private naval battle

In the Netherlands there is a theme park called "Efteling" with a forest with all faire tales. And the have a dark roller coaster called "De Vogelrok", what means like "Bird skirt". The roller coaster will be certainly on RU-vid. So I suggest "Vogelrok".

My suggestion? Use the landscaping and rocks to make the interior look like a big cave, with the que building looking like a building with plenty of rocks... Maybe use the chain tracks to deliberately slow the ride down so people can look at the pretty scenery before going down a sudden fast drop?

With the "Wild mouse" idea, the dark room, sharp corners and the design of the que building, I feel like the it has a kind of sewer feeling over it. Maybe Éqout-madness/Escape (like with the Parisian sewer system)?

The twist through the loop reminds me of the missing heart line roll on Maverick at cedar point.

so just FYI, the saw coaster at Thorpe park is a gerstlauer euro fighter coaster, much like mystery mine in the US. the cart you actually used was really similar, just without the major theming of the car itself. great pick. can't wait to see how you make it.

Call it the Knot-ilus. The nautilus is a sea creature that kinda looks like a squid and a snail had a baby, so you could easily use the Kraken props, and the coaster kinda forms a giant knot. :)

At Busch Gardens (Williamsburg, VA) they have a rollercoaster that requires 3D Glasses in order to get the full experience; it was really cool!

The coaster at Thorpe Park is a Gerstlauer Eurofighter :) It does look quite like one! just needs a vertical lift hill :P

I really like what you have done with this ride. I can almost foresee the final product. For me it would be a mix between two Disneyland Paris rides : Pirate of the Caribbean and Rock'n'Roller Coaster, who are both dark rides. For the name, I suggest "The Pirates' Cave" in tribute to the first movie of Pirates of the Caribbean. Nice video !

Flabaliki, when I saw your Videos about the Pirates of the Cari-Scream, Naginis Revenge and the Shopping Street, I was just totally blown away by you, this game and your building skills. Hey Flabs, have you ever been to Universal Orlando? There's a really cool indoor (and dark) ride there called the Mummy. Its SO awesome! I went on it 6 times (and was in the front seat 5 of those times) and it was probably one of my favorite rides at the park :D

can you recreate "the mummy" from universal studios Orlando? just the coaster part, and when they add boosters of course. I think the hill would be very interesting too, since it's half chain lift half boosters.

I have three suggestions -Whiplash -Havoc -Backstabber

Make it a disco/wacky theme. The props are there: all the different spotlights and signs (the pointing arrow, the star, the nuclear cloud etc.)

DON'T forget about POOLS, I mean swimming pools. Yeh, I said it swimming pools. I wonder if they are going to release it as a DLC or to be part of the base game, I wonder. But I can't wait for the economics of the game and terrain editor as well as more coaster types especially wooden coasters my all time favourite to watch them as they slowly and majestically flow down the track graciously. Swimming pools, Wildlife, Zoos, Steam support/ workshop, Mods, character customization? Will any of this be included in the final product? well all I know is that I want it to be in the end product which I can't wait for either way.

This is actually an indoor coaster. Dark rides are usually completely flat. This is still awesome though. I really hope they add stuff for dark rides though.

Little Idea on the side You could make another coaster ride inside the Ikea Warehouse to fill up the rest of the Space and make it not so lush. Looking forward for the next Episode Jonathan P.S: You could name it Doungeon Keeper

I'm going to wait before getting this. The only thing that I don't care much for so far from all the videos I've watched is the path system. I want to be able to connect my paths together without any hassle so I can make large, gorgeous plazas and stuff. It seems wonky, as does the queuing system. I hope they tweak that. Otherwise, it's looking phenomenal.

If you're going for the harry potter theme call it "Chamber Of Darkness" (Or Laggy No No if you want xD)

You should name the coaster "aragog's cave" and have it all spider themed if there's anything like that in the game.

Are you able to create two stations on one coaster? I've always put an entrance station and an exit station and I'm not sure if I will be able to do it in this.

depending on how you decide to theme the inside, it could be called king flabaliki' fortune. (going into dark castle to find the kings gold) just a thought.

You could call the coaster 'The Nimbus 3000'

Call it "The Curse of Black Beard's Loot" or something like that. On the big drop, you could have gold or something then they drop because they are cursed or set off a "trap", or something along those lines.

I can't wait until water rides are Included, because then you can name one FLOW RIDER! pls I'm so proud of my self for thinking of that.

If you put a bunch of rocks on the outside of the big blue building, you could call it Dead Man's Cavern or Blind Cavern, perhaps

You could try and add the kraken in this rollercoaster, i think that would look kinda cool in some places

I was on a coaster that was in the dark once. I hurt my neck on it...I was in such pain, I was stuck with my head on my right shoulder for about 3 days after. The ride was actually shut down about 5 (?) years ago for that very reason....people kept injuring their neck and even getting whip lash on it.
