Coaster Con 46 (Day 1) at California's Great America (6/16/2024) 

In June 2024, we attended the American Coaster Enthusiasts 46th Coaster Con which was held at California's Great America in Santa Clara, CA, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, CA, and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, CA. The convention took place from June 16th to June 21st. This video shows highlights from Day 1 at California's Great America which included the World's Largest Coaster Ride in which coasters from across the country were dispatched simultaneously in honor of the 140th anniversary of the opening of the Gravity Pleasure Switchback Railway at Coney Island on June 16th, 1884. The Gold Striker was the coaster at California's Great America that was dispatched for the historic event. Also included is nighttime photography during ERT in the evening.
