And by the way, every major civil rights organization, and every Black community leader, including here in Georgia, agree. No one has been pushed out and in fact all studies indicate new immigrant labor actually helps the Black and every community economically, providing both revenue and jobs. They are coming legally according to refugee asylum law...if you make it here...ANYWAYS...you are entitled to a hearing on your refugee status, so drop the illegal labels and lies.

@@richthewokeEQualizer You're partially right. However, using asylum as merely a tool to gain entrance is causing a huge backlog, which is putting the lives of legitimate asylum seekers at far greater risk.

@@1236612 I agree which is why the administration and Congress should allocate all of the funds needed to process and track them adequately. If we can spend billions on bombs around the world we can surely afford to do that at home. (And the majority are legitimate asylum seekers since they come from countries in which are interference has decimated their economies and public safety, so it is just our karma and responsibility which we can't legitimately avoid.)

I'm tired of helping grown folks.... nobody helps me. .. never receive one dime from Goverment..... they would have licenses if they were legal.... you should help them.... whoever wants to help them you support them..... I help families daily---and none are recent immigrant families because they help themselves more than most Americans do. Also, I deal with research and statistics---not opinions---and every study---from both Republicans and Democrats---state that they pay millions more into our systems than they ever receive in benefits. Also, the facts are that white women with children get the most benefits, followed by other mothers of different background but none or undocumented immigrants. And I'm not going to argue about whether this country is racist or not---the inequities based on race are also a proven fact--not opinions---so every institution still has systemic racism and, in fact, owes reparations to descendants of slaves who built this country and its wealth, including anything you and I have, as well as Native Americans and other oppressed wage slave minorities. The Democrats are not perfect---I am independent---however they are the only ones who acknowledge these truths and try to tax the rich to take care of the poor while the GOP protects the rich and corporations who don't pay their fair share of taxes so that you and I have to fight over the crumbs and pay their share. (By the way, I have documented this in my books and in the books I recommend so if you really want to learn how to survive this mess without blaming this or that group---including immigrants---I can help- you. If not, then wallow in your bubble of self-pity.
