Cobb's Board agrees to Opioid Case Settlement against Kroger 

Cobb's Board of Commissioners approved entering into a settlement with the Kroger Corporation in one of the ongoing cases involving the opioid epidemic. Cobb County has experienced more deaths than any other Georgia County since the start of the crisis. It has been one of the most aggressive counties in going after manufacturers, distributors, and pharmacies. The fund already has $5.2 million from other settlements.
