Cobb's challenges in fighting the opioid epidemic 

The opioid epidemic continues to claim lives and confound first responders in Cobb County. Speaking before the quarterly meeting of the county's Recovery Roundtable Leadership Council, EMS Director Nick Adams told the stakeholders that new and deadly additives were showing up. These deadly drugs render many of the lifesaving techniques currently in use ineffective.
