Quick question from another cobia 237 owner. How do you handle wind and waves that are coming perpendicular to the boat. When that happens to me, the boat tends to lean and sway quite vigorously from side to side and its hard for me to control the boat. Ive tried a couple of techniques but cant really find one does a good enough job for me to be comfortable. Thank you.
I’m a fellow Cobia 240 owner: the boat has a significant deadrise, so it tends to roll a little. I would take that all day, because it handles waves like a champ. I have had mine out in some nasty stuff (6 plus footers, not recommended on any boat). As long as you slow down.. you will make it home. The boat will not roll over, it’s got serious gunnels on it. I’ve been on 28 footers that handled less.
