The reason is: concrete-weight-gain and cost-reduction. But there will be less noise reduction and heat absorbtion and accumulation and possible weaker construction. The new parking garage in Eindhoven collapsed on a very hot day, before it was even in use. I think. the cheese form with site rim of the elements, seems to be much better than the perfect ball form. Because the used plastic does not connect to the concrete.
@@printpainting1293 I do not know if it is cobiax. I think they used Dutch "breedplaatvloeren" or "bekistingsplaatvloeren" The balls with their smooth surface save concrete, but don't connect to the concrete.
