I just want to thank you for this video. I have a honda stateline. I just installed the cobra slip ons and boy as you know I feel like I am riding a different bike. It took me about 25 minutes to install and ofcourse that's because you made this video. Just wanted to say thank you.
Thanks, Mr. Rider Nice instructional video. it would fun to hear stock, then none, then cobras :) how do you like the furry? i am thinking about getting one
just got my Cobra pipes in the mail today. can't wait to put them on my Fury. update: so when i was putting on the front pipe I noticed something was off. there was nowhere to align the bottom bolts. seems like the previous owner removed the mounting bracket for some reason so I had to order one. can't figure out why you would do that.
Thanks brotha for the fast response I’m strongly considering doing the same on my 23 fury I just love it so much and am afraid to mess with it cause it just that bad ass I appreciate your input
How would you compare this to cobras swept full exhaust ? I'm deciding whether to go with the slip on or full system. Or what about slks custom exhausts which are curved
The full is a deeper tone. You could remove the baffles of the slippans and probably get the same results never tried it but I can't imagine they be too different.
no, leaving the EFI stock is completely fine. thats the beauty of these. however, if you want to grab a cobra fi200r tuner, it does give it a slightly deeper, yet smoother sound and feel. i plan to do a video on that combo very soon. so please stay tuned!
the ticking is actually my keychain tapping on the plastic housing. it blows in the wind as you can hear it pretty well when you ride, and the whining, yes, but its quieted down over time.
I bought cobra slip-ons for my Honda fury 2 years ago. My Fury is always garaged and has never been out in the rain. The chrome on the bottom pipe now is 'bubbling', rust I imagine. These pipes are CRAP!!!
