Thank you! I have had this speaker for 3 months, use it with an ICOM IC -7300, and since I didn't read instructions never knew about the BUTTON. Even without turning on the NR, it was still superior to the ICOM SP-35 and Pyle PLMR24B. I am hearing even more noise reduction than you have in your video, maybe because it is 5 year newer model..
Hey Fred I just bought one called a JBCSP-3 Talk back speaker with noise cancelling it's 4" 8 ohm 10 watt with a swivel bracket it has 2 knobs one on either side volume and the noise cut it's really nice has a great bass sound. It's on a President Richard radio that already has a ANL/NB/Hi-cut switch I'll tell you the Dick is a great rig loaded with gimmicks found on high $ "Export" jobs at a better $ what a great little radio I liked so well I bought 2 one as a base one mobile.
They call it noise cancelling, but in reality it's what we call a high pass filter. Forget about it's noise cancelling and the real benefit is to get rid of the extra tinny sound....which I prefer in a full range speaker1
The noise from the alternator is because you are running the negative lead of your radio / amplifier to the negative post on the battery. That's a No-No.... run the negative leads ( as short as possible), to the metal chassis of the vehicle....don't forget to scrape the paint and use 3 self tappers....one in the center hole of the fastener and one on either side so as to prevent the ground from wiggling lose !@@hisdukeness3037
@@CB-RADIO-UK its alright. Just bought an adapter for my iphone and it plays it through the speaker. Planning on dropping in a better speaker inside and hooking up a amp to it too.
