Didn't Daniel already get his justice after that 1985 tournament against Silver? Terry Silver was in a very dark place after that tournament & changed himself for the better & even apologized to Daniel & wanted to make peace between them, but Daniel refused & still saw Silver as that same guy he was 35 years ago. If anything, Daniel is the real villain this season because he ruined a whole bunch of people's lives & hurt a whole bunch of people because of his lifelong grudge against Terry Silver by getting them involved in his mess. What's even crazier was that Mike Barnes did most of the tormenting in the KK3 & he forgave him & saw him as a changed man, but still sees Silver as a sick, twisted, evil man who left Daniel alone & warns him multiple times to not get involved in his business?!

@@cesarcanete3402 not only that, when silver first showed up it wasn't just for an apology, he was with kreese who was Dan's enemy, he was back in cobra kai so Daniel assumed the worst(which was right considering this season) While Daniel was the one to approach Barnes, saw that he had changed his life and done something with it, then ontop of that sincerely apologized(silvers apology could easily be sarcasm from the way he said it)

It might have been a reference from the novelization and original script ending of the first movie. In the original Karate Kid novel from 1984 (and in the original film script) it ends in the parking lot of the All Valley Tournament beside the Cobra Kai van. Mr. Miyagi defended himself against Kreese after he stopped Kreese from chocking Johnny in the parking lot in which case Kreese tried to fight Mr. Miyagi. Kreese smashes both his hands through a near by car window after Mr Miyagi ducks both times. Mr. Miyagi does that thing where he pretends he's going to do the blow to Kreese' face but instead honks his nose and leaves Kreese laying on the ground. All the Cobra Kai students were in the Cobra Kai van and had witnessed the whole scene in which case they all get out of the van and walk away. As the students are walking away they all take take off their karate belts and throw their karate belts on the ground in front of Kreese who’s now laying on the ground defeated as an indication they (the students) were done with Cobra Kai and Kreese. After that Daniel, Mr Miyagi, and Ali also walk away from Kreese leaving him alone on the ground. The scene novel and script ends with Daniel and Mr. Miyagi with their arms around each other's shoulders while Ali is holding the trophey up in their air as the three walk away to their car. Supposedly that was going to be the ending to the first film too, but they decided not to fim that scene and end the film after Daniel won the tournament. The scene was used in Karate Kid II (filmed during Karate Kid II, not during part I like some claim) except for the part of the students getting out of the van and throwing their belts to the floor and walking away and without Ali being in the scene/film. This scene in Cobra Kai with Silver is almost indentical to that with Silver laying on the floor, the students taking their jackets and shirts off throwing them on the ground near Silver, and Silver laying next to the trophey on the ground in loss and defeat.

Mauro Season 5 focused more on Silver vs Daniel with Johnny and Chozen supporting him. I think Season 6 focuses more on Kreese vs Johnny with Daniel and Chozen supporting him. I see Johnny winning a fight over Kreese at end of Season 6 similar to this fight.

I love how Daniel is 100% focused here - not falling for Silver's mindgames, not haunted by all the trauma he's gone through, no tunnel vision. The way he blocked each and every hit from Silver was awesome, but using the Quicksilver method against its own creator? I was clapping at my tv screen by the end of it.

Daniel didn't just defeat Terry Silver. He refuted the entire Cobra Kai way of doing karate by beating Terry with Terry's own rules... but in the way of Miyagi-do. Let the enemy exhaust himself by attacking relentlessly, and take him down with a handful of well-chosen, well-placed strikes.

Remember back in either episode 1 or 2, Chozen told Daniel that in order to defeat serpent, one must think like serpent. In this case, using the "Quicksilver" method against Terry Silver himself.

Can all just appreciate the impressed look from Hawk! He knows Daniel is a good martial artist and has learnt a lot from him but this is the first time he has seen Daniel at full miyagi! To be fair I think him fighting Silver is were Daniel does reach Mr Miyagi level he puts aside his own arrogance, ego and emotions and uses Silver's weapons against him.

If they do another season I think he should be shown evolving beyond Chozen much as Rocky evolved beyond Apollo in Rocky 3 symbolized by winning the race on the beach. In season 3 Chozen dominated their sparring matches and kept restraining Daniel. They should do more sparring but this time its DANIEL who keeps RESTRAINING CHOZEN. However, I came up with that idea BEFORE the almost fatal wounding. Chozen won't be at full ability for a while (or forever if the damage is permanent).

The thing is here Terry is exhausted physically (after getting his ass handed to him by Chozen) and mentally (the stress of his students not listening to him and his plans on the brink of being ruined). Danny sure has matured and everything, but he's still far from Miyagi's level in both wisdom and experience.

Slow it down and you can see Terry’s arm is basically resting on Daniels leg. He didn’t block it; the actor pulled his punch. In line with “If a man can’t stand, he can’t fight”, it would’ve been much realistic if Daniel had stomped the knee when he took him down. But it’s Hollywood, so there ya go.

Finally, Daniel has shown he has the skill and the confidence to defeat his nemesis Terry Silver. He may have adopted the "Quicksilver" technique, but his defense is iron clad and as strong as Miyagi's. This is Daniel's moment as he has finally become a true Karate master. I can't wait for season 6 where I believe Silver and Kreese will come back. I don't think Silver will stay in jail for too long, he has too much money and too many friends in high places that will keep him out of jail. Also, I hope they bring back Barnes. I enjoyed the few scenes he has in season 6 and I think the Bad Boy of Karate will be a great asset to Team Miyagi-Fang. Another thing, I hope Chozen will be successful in wooing Kumiko. Perhaps he is destined to be the one to put a ring in that delicate fingers of her.

His stance has always been that way. It’s form learned from Katas in Miyagi-do. You’ll notice he does much more of the open stance when circling and preparing for resetting - like Miyagi always did. Miyagi-Do derived from Kung Fu - hence the animal forms and stances. Think Ip Man and wing chun etc. not the same, but prep stance is important. Closed fist is much more western. Karate means “empty hand” quite literally ;) Anyway, nerdy and assumptive response - but, that’s what we do!

I really pray they bring back Terry Silver back next season if it is indeed the final season. They can't have him go out like this. Especially of a villain as cunning & intelligent as he is. I think A final team up of Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, Mike Barnes, Julie Pierce & a redeemed Kreese to take down Terry Silver & Hector Salazar in an ultimate endgame final showdown. Start Cobra Kai fresh with Kim Da Un's students from South Korea & Hector Salazar's fighters from Mexico. Some of a foreign exchange type of deal.

Oh gosh! That Was so good on so many levels. Every time Silver has been in Daniel's life he's been Daniel's abuser, tourmentor or both. To see him finally have the focus and the courage to stand up to him was glorious. Thre you add combining various styles culminating in using Silver's own quicksilver method against him and the Crane Kick was the Cherry on the top. It was so epically satisfying 😌

My favorite part was when cobra kai threw their merchandise to Silver poor guys I actually feel bad for them they all looked so hurt and broken. Just like Daniel at his youth, thankfully Robbie and Tori saw Silver for what he truly is try to warn love that Devon listen to her heart. Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang stood there ground beautifully to protect the egg like Anthony suggested Chozen would of been proud. Daniel San took all of Silver methods to break Silver finish of the fight with the victorious crane kick kinda wish Johnny would of seen it he knows exactly how it feels to get his ass whooped by Daniel LaRusso he would of love seeing Silver in the ground like the rat he truly is. Silver is out of the picture as for Kreese that man doesn’t surprise me whatever he plans are Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang are ready they have great sensei’s as for cobra Kai it flushed it self down the toilet💛✌🏻
