joerg, i have a video idea for you: "match/sport-crossbows". Why they are so precise, why they use these weird short bolts, how much power do they have, etc. I realize that they are quite unknown to usual bow/crossbow shooters and there is no youtube material that explains them in detail.
I fired a bolt possible with flat broadhead from r9 and the front sight disappeared, the bolt still hit the target. I'm glad to see i can swap it so easily.
Hello Joerg! I currently own the Adder, AR-6 Stinger (original), Steambow Stinger 2 Tactical inc Scope, & waiting for delivery of the Stinger 2 Compact. I also own a few different Steambow limbs & all the different arrows & other accessories. The one thing I wish all of these crossbows had was a MANUAL safety. The Adder has the automatic safety (don’t like) & the Stinger 2 Tactical & Stinger 2 Compact both don’t have safety’s. I think especially the Stinger 2 Compact should have a manual safety as it’s a one handed crossbow. I’d like to cock back the bow & have the ability to put a safety on. This would have been a good idea for Steambow to do but shame they didn’t do it.
I would suggest rubbing some wax on the inner side of wood. It schould reduce the wear between the plastic and the wood. Or ideally make the whole part of low friction plastic.

dear joerg, i have just watched your interview with frau blank (very much enjoyed it btw^^). in it you mention your desire to revise your design of a true full auto crossbow. as just a long time viewer, i thought about your past videos of the harpune gatling and your review of a slick commertial slingshot crossbow paired with the original crank style gatling gun. basicly the other inactive "barrels" in different stages of reload: catching the string - draw - ball or shortbolt feed. i dunno, maybe it is way more complex than i imagine it just struck me in reminiscence. hope it helps. stay healthy.

moin Jörg, ich hatte auch gerade so einen Schuh, hab mir das Sprunggelenk gebrochen. Cooles teil, viel besser als ein Gips. Von der Firma gibt es ausgleichsschuhe, die man über andere schuhe ziehen kann. Ernst gemeinter Tipp, halt dich soviel es geht in Bewegung. Ich hab so Probleme wegender 4 Wochen ruhig lage gehabt.... weniger cool... gute Besserung
Leider sind die Ausgleichsschuhe nur für die "normale" Variante. Die Achillessehnen-Sohle ist viermal dicker und dafür bieten sie keine Ausgleichsschuhe an - angeblich zu unfallträchtig.

Is there no need for stoppers on the 90lbs bow arm? Can i do the same with my adder? I have a 90lb arm but i put the stoppers on mine, because the stock one is too powerful for my small garden.

Hi joerg my i got my old dad a mini 80 self cocking crossbow for selfdefense but he cant hold on to it and doesnt have a lot of strength i fear he be dead if a intruder attack him and i was wondering if you had any mod idels to help the elderly with that problem?

Da ich aber ein Wig Schweißgerät besitze und da auch mit umgehen kann möchte ich sie fragen ob es auch eine Anleitung gibt in der man sieht was genau zu tun ist um den vorderen Teil des Magazin zu führen ohne das Sperrholz Teil ?? Oder können Sie mit ein paar Sätzen beschreiben was da dann anders gemacht wird ... ??
Hi Joerg, ich hab ne RX9 von einem Freund bekommen, mir stumpf das 7aroow adder mag, geholt und dann natürlich selbiges festgestellt :D Meine Frage, funktioniert der mod auch für das 7er ? da es vorne ja doch ein paar andere parts hat, der Drucköffner und diese Schraubeinstellung.

@@Slingshotchannel I see, sort of like a frozen shoulder then? Not fun. Well when you have recovered I highly recommend you get one of those oil filled and sealed electric heaters that won't be a fire hazard with all the sawdust everywhere! Oh and maybe some fireproof carpeting?
Won't it be cool if you made flat whistling arrows that could fit the arrows chamber? Imagining the sound of rapid firing whistling arrows should be amazing and scary as hell
Interesting mod but I'm perfectly happy with my R9 as standard and since hunting with any kind of bow is illegal in the UK a magazine fed crossbow is alittle pointless.
