Very consistent dispersion in the one length and better smash factor to be fair.

Thanks for the video. Switched over to the one length f9 irons 5 thru GW with a 4 OL hybrid about 6 months ago. I won’t be going back to variable length. Added too much consistency. Takes a little getting used to but well worth it. My only gripe is the hybrids (and the long irons) fly a little lower. I make sure I have a good descending angle of attack but it still flies a little lower. Hope that can be corrected. I might add an inch of length to the hybrid.

I tried the one length last year and love them. Well the irons I love. But standard hybrids I still prefer.

The one length was clearly a bit short for you but the results as far as dispersion were outstanding. Typically I see good players fight with their hybrids to keep from missing left. Yours with the one length were straight or a tad fadey. They should offer a one length option for taller players that are longer, perhaps 38 inches. Your vlogs are one of the reasons that I don't game a driver longer than 45 inches. You proved that a shorter driver can be much more accurate and often just as long hitting due to better strikes.

I added an inch to my f8 5-4 hybrids to feel the clubhead it felt and flew better.

Michael, it always makes me laugh, when I see you hitting those one-length kiddie clubs! It reminds me of when my co-worker/friend bought new clubs and didn't get fitted. He is around your height and purchased standard length clubs. I told him, they looked too short for him and they were as he was hitting a lot of shots thin. He finally listened and had them lengthened about 1.5". Thanks for making the videos!

Would have been nice to see dispersion graphs. All the shots with one length ended up being almost the same distance and same quadrant of green. Variable length was sprayed across whole green.

You didn’t address that the slightly lower ball flight creates more roll. Your distances were 4 yards off...and you didn’t hit a single draw with the 1 length. Is your personal 7i the standard length or extended? If your regular clubs are extended, you would also need to extend the one length...otherwise your effective lie of the club is off...

You were much closer to the pin with the one length. At your height, you would likely prefer them at 1" additional length.

Would be good to see you hitting the one-length on the course.

I’m slightly taller as well so I have all single length plus 0.5 inches. You would probably benefit from +1 inch. And you hit the green 5 times there 😅

Curious if you adjusted your ball position to your 7 iron location?

Have you considered sticking those little rubber bits to the club faces to confirm the quality of strike with each club?

I've been playing one length irons from 5 iron to lob wedge for a few years now. They work great for me, but the OL hybrids I have tried, not so much. Maybe that's because I have only tried ones that have 20 degrees of loft, or less. I'm thinking I just don't have the swing speed to get the best out of the lower lofted ones. I should do some testing with higher lofts as you mention here.

What does the OL wedge feel like. Isn't it a bit off-putting being longer than normal?

Question: It is my understanding that the one length hybrid is exactly 37.25" long. How long is the standard hybrid exactly?

Is the one length swing weight less or is the head heavier?

I have both f8 and f9 OL hybrids and found the f8 hybrids to gap well, about 10 meters between each club (total distance h3-205m h4-195m h5-183m) but with the f9 hybrids I couldn't split the difference? They all went around the 200 meter mark they just had a different flight pattern? To make sure it wasn't just me I got 2 guys I know to test them both single figure players and they found the same thing? Not that they all go 200 meters but that they all went the same distance.

The std length looks a little closed at address. Is that what you see or is it just the camera angle?

I'm not sure the issu is the OL concept. Apparently you're too tall for one length clubs. Nobody can play properly with unadapted shaft.
