I don't know if has already been said, but Joann's is partnering with St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital by giving a free hat making kit (basically a skein of yarn) to knitters and crocheters to make a hat for a child in their care. You just return the hat to the store by January 9th. If anyone is interested.

Everything I do I step it up a notch when I do a major project. There isn't anything I can't do because of me pressing myself for these many many years. I've done everything from Celtic afghans to the peppermint throw which is my absolute favorite! And to be honest the peppermint throw is not hard. It's so beautiful and still worth the time. I get so excited at Christmas because I drape it over my extra large rocking chair along with its matching peppermint pillow! To be honest the most difficult of this Afghan is just piecing them together! I want to do one in white and green this one is red and white. So like crystal said press yourself! Every time you do something do something that is a challenge for you that's a little step higher than what you normally would do and eventually you'll look back and go wow! If I see it and I like it I make it! it's not even a question for me anymore because of pushing myself all these years, I know I can do it 💗

I was never able to make hats before watching your channel. I have been crocheting for nearly 30 years and hats always gave me a hard time! But now it seems I am doing a hat a month (sometimes two a month) and I have been saving up for Hats not Hate. my last donation was not nearly as big as I would have liked. So I look forward to all your hat tutorials because it helps bulk up my supply! also, thank you for reuploading some of your older videos.
