This pumped-up American soldier shows up to an amateur boxing night. He wants to challenge any local there. He shadow boxes and walks around as if he owns the place.
A local guy AKA "Bolo" steps up to the plate and the American soldier, feeling confident, lets him give the first punch. The rest is history...
