I think the most useful trapper tip I've ever learned from Otz is to be extremely territorial. don't bother chasing across the map, drop chase if they aren't running into your side. only chase across the map if it's literally the last person, otherwise you're wasting valuable time. it makes 3 gen strats significantly more consistent and deadly when you're less than 15 seconds away, every time. trap up your side of the map, if it's safe to go pick up far away traps without losing a home field gen, no worries, just don't bother staying over there.

Teabagging immediately followed by getting bodied. SWF is always the same.

A few days ago, I had some green rank survivors acting cocky when I was Myers stalking them. I used to be red rank killer, then I took a long break from the game and came back to it. I was stalking them with both pink add-ons, hardly even hunting them, just stalking. They were so full of themselves, they were running circles around me as I stalked them. Then, as soon as tier 3 popped, I grabbed one and killed them immediately, and everyone just ran and scrambled in different directions. The best part was the cockiest player was a Claudette who got trapped in a corner of the map, and they were the last one to die. I've never been able to get a 4k with evil within 3 until that day, and I can't thank those cocky dipshits enough.

I just now thought of something. Make Territorial perk always give you line of sight to the 4 red hooks in basement. Just an extra 'you always know where the basement is while playing' as if you were holding a survivor, but only for basement. Or give that to that one terrible perk that makes them die faster in the basement.

I just played a game as huntress, (I’m rank 7 on console, and not very good with her) anyways I ended up only getting two people and I was called a camper and a tunneler because I killed the 2nd one during end game and the last person in the match was directly below the hooked person, so I have my hatchet out, I only had one left, so I say there and waited for her to make a move, she eventually abandoned the hooked person, and I’m called a camping tunneler because I didn’t go all Skyrim and say “Nobody’s there, must have been nothing” and walk away XD

Thank you for reviving the Trapper for me. I’ve been trapping the 3 closest gens along with any loop surrounding them (there’s usually one good one around). I literally allow them to do the first 4 gens and so far ONLY one group of 3 people escaped off a mistake I made(it still took 10+ min for them to do the last gen). Other than that, it’s been 4K’s. They get cocky and it’s absolute chaos because they can’t do the last gen and are constantly triggering traps.

Those guys may have been good but they're up against one of the best players on PC so they were going to lose either way.

Speaking of cocky, I recently got the game and am still at rank 18 playing with an early Wraith. I just dealt with a SWF team for the first time. I could tell cause they were body blocking every single time they could get with pretty much the whole crew, also I ate a borrowed time and DS. They definitely made a lot of mistakes throwing themselves at me expecting me to not swipe them, but I gotta say It felt really good to persevere through the bullying and 4k them. Your vids really helped out with figuring out how to handle situations like these even for a newbie like me.

I freaking love cocky survivors. Just recently had a game as Wraith on torment creek. Put Bill on his 3d hook and just thought to settle for 3k. After walking around the map for some time, I discover scratch marks nearby a hill, and also hear the hatch. I get up on this hill and close the hatch, then turn around to see Meg. I thought that she was a bit late, but she actually had a key in her hand and deliberately let me close the hatch, because there's no way I'll get her now when she's healthy. She thought to give me a free hit and then escape. Atleast that was her plan. The second I uncloak and go for a hit, she goes down, because NOED. That was one of the best moments I've ever had in this game. I usually don't use NOED, but sometimes I think about always having it with me just incase I need to punish cocky and overconfident fools :)

Trapper is really fun to play and learning from otz makes it even more fun

To be a killer is so stressful for me, so I can just play one or two rounds and than I have to switch to surv because it's chilling. This early game would given me a heart attack. But Otz just keeps calm and still win.

idk if Otz answers comments but I was curious why u ran Zanshin Tactics I might be wrong but I recall u said this perk wasnt that great if u know the layout of maps or something like that

you are the most entertaining DBD player, hands down.

i hate high rank it devolves into a equation alright if a surviver is near a pallet or a vault thingy = loop until the pallet breaks or you hit the guy it's either that or going to another gen to find another chase which wastes the chase if you injured the survivor. if they have 2 vualst it takes forever to catch up and if you have a regular pallet depending on the map it'll take forever too. it's what they do to win and that's fine it just drives me up the wall to be in some games i can 4 k as good ol' wraith and then the next to meet a sfw who have this thing implanted from the get go. IS there a counter to this other then using direct counter killers? (like huntress)

As a newer killer it pains me not being able to go against swf and cocky survivors, so this is a nice outlet

Last time I had Objects in my game, all players were killed and no gens were finished, or one was finished in one of them. First one was as Doctor with 3 perks and they had a DC and the second one was Wraith with a Mori.

I just had a game as Bubba where the survivors were sweaty af Yellow medkits/green toolbox/rainbow map/yellow flashlight. All with double hardcore add-ons. Their offerings were purple coin/escape cake/thicken mist/Mary's Letter. Then they had an object tbag and try to wave me over all game. I was so tempted to leave but I stayed and got the 3k as the last one found hatch. But the obsession died👌

Quick question.(this applies to anyone) How often do you get reported simply for being good at the game? And have you noticed certain killers won't get reported compared to others? For example, I started this game a week ago and not once was I reported while playing as Nurse but as soon as I started to play Wraith.. it's like every game.
