Great video thanks, we come in December. I know your room was in the tower but was it also called a block? I have seen people say to ask for block 6 as it is quieter!
Thanks for all the info, we visited the water park couple years ago and had a nice time. Been staying at Caribe Royale the last couple years but they are full for our available weekend so I'm looking at staying here. Definitely less expensive and a bit "rough around the edges" as you say, which I don't mind.
Im stuck between choosing this hotel or Holiday inn & suites waterpark resort. (Ive been there when it was the Nick Hotel) … ive seen many bad comments on it and good and i honestly dont know which to go to this month
Before our first trip to Orlando several years ago I read a lot of comments on the various resorts and there was a lot of negative ones as well as positive and there was a lot of trepidation on my part about making a decision. Finally I just made a decision and went with it and wasn't disappointed. I think there's just a lot of people out there that will always find something negative about a place or experience so I wouldn't worry about it anymore.
There was no parking fee. We booked through Virgin, so it could have been free as part of that booking, but I believe the parking was free as part of your stay at CoCo. They’ll give you a little paper slip to go on your dash, and your room key (swipe card) will allow you access into the car park. Glad you enjoyed the video. We have many Florida videos on our channel from this year’s holiday. Check them out to help with your own holiday. 👍🏻
Best to stick to the crossings. The roads are quite wide and can be busy. Also, you don’t want to be caught by the police jaywalking!! Stick to the crossings. 👍🏻
Thank you for a great review. How easy is the drive to Disney and Universal? What is it like driving is it easy or quite difficult first time coming from UK?
The roads in the US can be intimidating at first, but when you get used to them, they are very logical and quite easy to figure out. There are a few little things you have to be aware of-for example you can turn right on a red light unless it states you can’t. My recommendation is to Google their rules of the road and take notes. Definitely pay for the sat nav with the rental car, that is a must do. Take your time, and you’ll be fine. Just be aware that Interstate 4 can be very busy at peak times. 👍🏻
Im staying in this hotel next year and there seems to be some i consistency on what people say is the resort fee. Could you let me know if there is one please and how much? Thank you for the video was very informative.
Hey, we booked the whole holiday through Virgin, who either waved the resort fee or covered it as part of the overall price. Not sure if other holiday providers will wave the fees, but we had no nasty fee surprises when we booked in. If you’ve booked with Virgin, you should be good. Enjoy your holiday, you’ll have a blast! And thanks for watching the video.
