Wow I love coconut rice

I am thinking using coconut cream instead of the the coconut milk. Richer flavor.

The next time you make Coconut rice, try using Jasmine Rice… Yellow bag from Walmart… I think brand is called… “ GOLDEN STAR “ The rice is from Thailand Don’t add any salt to this dish…or any time you cook rice… Instead… add 6 tablespoons of sugar… Coconut Rice is a sweet dish…and Any time you cook rice, do not add any salt to it, until rice is completely cooked…because, salt dissolves rice, and it will make rice mushy… Even if it comes out not to be mushy, when you add salt while cooking rice, salt damages the surface of the rice grains…

Instead of white sugar can brown suger be used ?

Music is way too loud compared to your voice. Have to keep changing the volume to hear you or lower the music.

I tried a similar method in my rice cooker and the coconut milk seemed to split.. any idea why? :(

There is No recipe posted for this coconut rice so No way to make it. Would like it if it got posted in the description area or in the comment area, that way it can be easily viewed while making it.

Don't like Sugar in my rice

Too much coconut.

You remove the starch and add sugar. I don't like this recipe also you use a rice cooker. Sad.
