20 years of waiting for and dreaming about diving at Cocos Island in Costa Rica finally were over in December 2012. I made it and dove with the hammerheads, and - as our dive guide was too busy swimming against currents and away from the action - I had a few dives where I was completely alone amongst hundreds of hammerhead sharks!
We also has dolphins hunting and playing in a school of Jacks right next to us. It was just like in a dream.
Luckily I opted for video instead of photos, so I, my family, fellow divers and friends can enjoy what I have seen as well. I am grateful for this experience and will never forget it.
Cocos was the best diving ever for me in 3.200+ logged dives!
