Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War (PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Series X) requires some new knowledge and there are lots of things and hidden settings the game doesn't tell you. We've got you covered here. Subscribe for more: ru-vid.com?su...
Extra Tip: When using a controller, this game defaults your joystick threshold to 13 or a similar number; it creates a feeling of input delay and clunky response when looking and moving with the joysticks. Go to your controller settings. Go down to “Advanced Settings” and change the threshold to 2 for the left and right joystick. Keep the other settings that are “99” the same. The game instantly felt better and more responsive in multiplayer. Hope this helps someone!
Not sure if y’all remember, but the MP5 was even OP in the original MWF. It wasn’t a wide spread problem then because everyone was either M16’ing or trying to quick scope, but it fucking melted everyone.
@Robert Sears You can't have realistic guns in a videogame, and especially not in a CQB game, like COD. If they were to do it remotely realistic, games would just be camping, which is not fun.
@@Orcawhale1 Battlefield One (last BF game I played) had realistic ballistics and bullet drop. I wish there was realistic bullet damage where head and chest shots were 1 hit and limb shots would slow your step or slow your aiming
Man, it's so cool that the campaign has more than one ending and side content to boot. I've always loved COD campaigns, but it was always one and done with them, now I have a reason to play it more than once.
@@ericlepe7390 this is late but they fixed that bug. So come on and hop into Cold War I actually am enjoying it a lot more and it feels decently balanced( mac10 is a bit annoying tho)
The wristwatch for Operation: Red Circus spawns randomly around the KGB Map(I found mine on the lower floors) But I’m told it’s more common in records lol
Keep in mind that increasing your FoV will also make players slightly harder to hit and vice versa. I'm old so I find my score increases with a lower FoV & fatter enemies to shoot at while using my audio more for spatial awareness. A low FoV makes players appear closer, a high FoV makes them appear further away.
Exactly. I hate when devs or players say that allowing a high FOV is unfair. It’s easier to aim when the FOV is smaller; that’s what zooming does! People like me need an FOV to be at least 90 horizontal degrees, and it’s better at 100+. Anyhow, it’s not as if only certain players are allowed to change their FOV...
@@mr.ohiostate2544 Plus let’s not forget that they give you the option to exfil after round 10. You don’t need to have a world record for the most rounds your team survived. In fact, you probably don’t want the enemy team to recognize you in PvP multiplayer because if they do, they’ll take you more seriously than they would an average player. Getting the enemy to not properly estimate your skill is an advantage you might want.
Thats just the game being shit, can't fix that until the developers fix it, thats what ya get for yelling at a company to push out a game when it wasn't supposed to he released for about another year
this is the first cod in a long time that i’ve literally fanboy’d the whole time playing it. it’s fantastic. my only complaint is that we probably needed 4-5 more maps than we got
@@darthmaul6239 I honestly think it’s actually pretty fun, it could be better yea but im gonna give it a chance, the game just came out and changed can be made. But overall I’m satisfied with it. But can’t speak for everybody else
Same dont understand all the hate I've genuinely had a good time playing and don't feel like anything is super op like bo4 the operator stuff constantly needed to be rebalanced its was awful at times this game so far feels great
The other thing that I saw right away in the secret area at the safehouse, was the striking similarity of the game cabinet text to the infamous Polybius game cabinets. If you guys don't know what that refers to, read the wiki on it. But considering it only lets you play the discovered games through the game, I think it was definitely a missed opportunity, it being in Black Ops and all.
I used the MP5 sooo much during the beta. I never realized that it was broken AF. I would try the Uzi and it just felt like a straight downgrade, so equip MP5 and 1911 and boom, top fragging almost every TDM
The first mission supprised me when I heard everyone in the bar talking Dutch.... Wait are they actually talking my language Holy sht. They went the extra mile.
The MP series of guns in call of duty always were amazing at close range & far distance. Was pretty much if you could aim at them accurately you can hit them.
Dude, you just explained every cod at launch, one gun being abused and exclusively used. Just avoid cod first month of launch and avoid the first wave op gun bs lol
@@tice4783 it's all about how focused & steady you are I smoke people that are using the mp5 while using the ak47 m16 whichever gun I'm in the mood for really you just gotta step it up haha
Been playing since launch on PC, no issues as to the game crashing. And my computer isn’t anything too special either. You’re just trying to run it on a toaster my friend.
2 items from Operation red circus were in different places in my play through. The book in brick in a wall was actually in a different room in a dresser and the watch was in a room where you frame the general
Yeah I actually never raged during MW, but this game, getting out gunned at range by an MP5, getting out gunned up close with an MP5, Flack jacket people surviving 3 rockets and a nade, Not being able to see anyone on that stupid grass map - it's too arcade for me, but I'll still put days into it because what else am i to do?
@@greyman7605 I understand what you are saying, and I've been playing COD forever but I myself find it funny that we talk about a gun being overpowered without bringing up quick scoping snipers at close range beating guns meant to be deadly at close range. That's the point I was originally making, but I'm going to try out the Mp5 today. Much Respect
I haven't dabbled too much in the MP and Zombies, so I can't really comment on those modes. But I've finished the campaign - and wow! It was honestly the best campaign since BO1 and BO2.
Am I the only idiot that thinks that a gun laser is only a laser and never add it to weapons because I think it will have no effect even in mw where it has buffs
For operation chaos I actually took out my note book and write stuff down so I don’t have to go back to switching to evidence. I actually filled up 5 pages solving it without a walkthrough
I think " things the game doesn't tell you" shouldn't include puzzle solutions. They are spoilers and if i want the solution to a puzzle I'll search for that separate to a video telling me to increase the fov and turn off ray tracing
The performance modes can be changed depending on the game. If you are in a racing game you would want performance. If you are in an open world you would want resolution mode.
The first coded piece of evidence found for Chaos in the first level you don’t ‘get automatically’. You have to let the target live instead of throwing him off the roof to get that piece.
