Very well demonstrated! I have a similar scenario where I want to stop sending SNS notifications for any EC2 instances that are either Shutdown or being Shutdown. The challenge of this scenario is that the timings of the shutdown for these EC2 instances are not defined. Secondly, each Cloudwatch alarm may be attached to multiple instances. Do you have any videos for that?

Im torn between doing it this way vs using AWS config for the detection and then using lambda for autoremediation. Your way is a lot simpler but depending on the resource youd probably get a ton of invocations.

There's nothing between START RequestID and END RequestID. What is missing?
