This is a discussion that will never end. Officially hardstyle is EDM, because EDM stands for Electronic Dance Music. However some people call it HDM (Hard Dance Music). But I don't care, I just like the track.
Hardstyle is EDM. The common misconception is that "EDM" refers _ONLY_ to house or house-derived genres, such as progressive house, electro house, future house, but also includes future bass, trap, in other words, to _most_ people "EDM" is defined as "that mainstream shit that normal people listen to that they think is banging until they listen to really hard shit like Delete, Mr Prophet, Sefa, etc". Whereas in reality, EDM refers to house, trance, hardstyle, hardcore, techno, trap, dubstep, drum and bass, garage, and all of their subgenres, such as folktronica, complextro, speedcore, etc.
to the haters, this is a diss track to the New South Wales government in Australia that don't allow people into clubs past 130am (ie. you have to be already in the club by that time) :)
