I know time is changing fast, music style will evolve, but compare to another artist like Frontliner, the new Code Black really throw all of his characteristic away...
One time i was listening to the song just after the "you are now entering Pandora" i heard the rumble of a thunderstorm. That make the following climax so much cooler
i fell in love with hardstyle 12/13 years ago when i first saw defqon 1 2012 official festival video since been saving each festival and all songs vant explain the feelings when i listen to never been to any of hardstyle festivals i live in South Africa
Eh, don't spend too much time on the naysayers. Some have indeed valid criticism to voice, but most are just "change is bad mkay". To be perfectly honest, Hardstyle is, and always was, a hybrid of Hardcore and Trance. So, in essence, Hardstyle is just following its natural evolutionary curve towards, and sometimes away from Hardcore, and sometimes towards, or away from Trance. Sometimes Hardstyle turns into something almost "jumpstyle-ish" going even towards Happy Hardcore lmao, and then people began appreciating rawer and harder sounds more again, and then it curved towards the "2012 beach party happy hippo days" of euphoric melodies again, and now it turns back into the Hardcore domain. I see no problem at all, I can always go back and listen to older releases of yours lol (big fucking fan of "FEAR" btw, absolutely nasty kick 👌)
Different style of music is what i wanted to make, and a different style of music is what i'm making. Plain and simple, its refreshing to be outside of the box/trend i was in for so many years, i'm having a lot of fun and thats whats important to me!
