This is my favorite anime opening and one of the best in my opinion

I like how in the first episode, when Suzaku thought that whatever cc was in was poison gas, he put the gas mask on lelouch and tried to sacrifice himself for his friend. That was so sweet.

Fun Fact: In the beginning of the opening when you look in Lelouch’s Eye, he’s commanding you to sing with the opening.

Code Geass was one of those rare anime that managed to become a huge success, without having a source material to take reference from. EDIT: I don’t want to keep repeating this, so I’ll just edit it here. A source material is where the story is adapted from, like how the One Piece anime’s source material is the manga. Death Note is NOT its source material.

Still one of the best animes of all time with an almost unrivaled endings.

it’s tradition to listen to this every couple of weeks

Watched this masterpiece of a show almost 10 years ago and I didn't know it at the time but I started with season 2. Was a bit confused at times but the show was still so good and broke me, like it did to most I assume. Then after a bit I saw that there was another season available and shortly realized that I had watched season 2 first. So I watched one, so many things made more sense and it made things more heartbreaking because I already knew what will happen , them I watched season 2 again and bam, broke again. This is one of the animes that I recommend everyone watches at least once in their life's (preferably in the correct order).

No matter how old the animation looks, it still has a fresh feel to it. Fucking masterpiece

The quality of this series looks better than some of the shows aired in 2019.
