This is one of the few timeless anime that I consistently get the urge to rewatch it all over again every year. It’s such a classic!

The moment when you return to this opening after finishing the show and realize that it was not Edward shown at the beginning.

This opening was so good at showing how it's different in tone compared to 2003. In 2003, where most of the openings gave you this feeling that this world is imaginative and limitless, Brotherhood's openings say that every memory, every decision that you make, matters.

Edward’s hair blowing wildly in the wind is so iconic

The shot at 0:48 always makes me profoundly sad. Edward losing his arm and leg and Al losing the entirety of his physical body... and also Winry kinda feeling the aftershock of this trauma. It's just really great imagery combined with the "drop" of the song.

This opening is more than enough to remind of the fun as heck adventure i had in fmab brotherhood

Wow, showing this can actually convince certain people to watch the anime, even if they haven't seen any/many yet in some cases neat. Got a reason to watch this with a beloved after all these years :D

This is the best shonen I have ever seen, only the necessary chapters, no characters are used and discarded because they all matter, there are no characters with broken abilities, there are no power levels, a story well told from beginning to end

Eventhough i barely revisit anime these days, i can't stop giving FMA BH a re-run. Along with both Shaman King Versions.

I wish I could re-experience this anime. Like it was so good and the best shonen anime ever created. Nothing will ever top this anime. There is a Edward shaped hole in my heart 😢

Ahh c'mon! I went to watch a childhood classic and the next thing I knew I was crying... the images are incredible

So after growing up as a kid I did my own research and you guys won't believe how much western alchemy and symbolism is involved in Full Metal Alchemist most of it is also based on the old religion and the genesis of the Bible which is where Truth(God) resides if you read it the Bible actually gets quite dark. In real life there really is an urban legend of Western Alchemy of he who possesses the Philosopher's Stone made by Isaac Newton can quote on quote obtain "mystical" Alchemy sounds familiar to you? I don't know if there's still fans from growing up out there who are reading this or not young or old I suggest you look up Western Alchemy and its true agenda. The real agenda is the Alchemists of Western Alchemy were no cowards and not afraid to defy authorities just to obtain this Philosopher's Stone. It's been written in the oldest manuscript on Earth which is NOT the Dead Sea Scrolls but the Emerald Tablets of Thoth. A legend has it a King came down from heaven on his golden throne and gave Thoth a message to step out of the darkness and into the light and you will receive immortality. This immortality from the light has to be the Philosopher's Stone according to Legend the stone is so powerful it can pierce death its self even Zeus king of the gods and thunder even had a Philosopher's Stone which transcended him into a so called god and what gave birth to Atlantis. Now I wonder how many ancient civilizations BC or Before Christ have actually had a Philosopher's Stone because even the Thule society in real life was obsessed with a Buddhist Legend called Shambala does this sound familiar at all to any FMA fans? Even the Thule society was also involved in the practice of Alchemy which means we might actually be on the other side of the gate in real life and most of the show is an actual fact.

Haven't heard this song in probably 10 years and back when I did watch Brotherhood, it wasn't even one that I was all that into. The nostalgia must be sitting hard because now I'm sitting here absolutely jamming about to tear up.

It's been years since I've watched FMA in general and especially years since my first time watching FMA:B.. It's still one of the few very best stories and anime out there.. It's great. To my old heads that want something new; you heard it a 1000x before, but watch One Piece, it starts goofy but as you watch & grow with the characters; they develop and just like FMA had goofy & serious moments; so does One Piece. I had the biggest stigma about it myself aswell but now I can only recommend it to others.

now that it’s been a few months since i first watched… come back to see this and it makes me want to rewatch it all over again. this was my very first anime opening and it blew me away from the start. returning after seeing the whole show makes me impressed at how much foreshadowing and touching on themes there is without spoiling a thing
