The song is Masquerade by Hitomi Kuroishi. It was played during R1 ep14 where Lelouch erased Shirley's memory too, and it's a very beautiful and sad love song

It's not about blood, it's about the bonds you build, physical, emotional, mental, it's about the relationship you two build instead of it being built by default, and mostly built on a weak foundation

Geass isn’t like a superpower where it’s limitless in possibilities. Geass is like telekinesis in nature it’s all brain related. Which is why rolo’s power can’t control time, only the brains perception of time. Edit: okay maybe it’s more supernatural than I thought but the main theme does seem to be with the brain and nervous system.

This is true for all Geass, it's always perception related. Then there is that last Geass we see get revealed... and it's absolute bullshit since it doesn't fit into that schema at all...

Geasses usually affect the mind only. So it makes sense that Rolo’s geass only suspends one’s perception of time. Can’t wait for you to consume S2 and all of its ups and downs.😊

Ugh I am soooooo excited for the rest of y'alls reaction to this series! Code Geass is one of my favorites to watch reactions of because of all the beautifully executed plot twists that intertwine with the depth and complexity of the character development and social commentary. Cant wait to see you guys get deeply philosophical with some of the themes later and be blown away by how good this show is. This is my 3rd fav anime but you guys might just be my fav reactors.

Ooh it only now hit me that a bomb threat from the Black Knights on the mall isnt putting suspicion on Lelouch directly, because CC could have done that in an attempt to get in contact with Lelouch in the chaos. I mean, they pretty much did that at Babel Tower.

This is not a really great thing to say but Lelouch constantly thinking bad stuff about Rolo (most notably the casual "He shouldn't even exist") and him being nice out loud is such a funny thing to me that it wouldn't surprise me if he's said more bad things about him than the emperor And that Yhwach lookin dope

In the cooking scene I saw great chemistry between Lelouch and Millie. I would actually ship Lelouch together with Millie over Shirley. To be honest Shirley is a little dumb or naive for Lelouch. Shirley is clueless that Lelouch is a prince or he is Zero or that he's even wearing a mask hiding his true self from her. If a good relationship is based on having no secrets than Lulu & Shirley are doomed from the start.

Cool that you like Lelouch and Millie, but why do you have to go and insult Shirley lol? So what if there are secrets? Lelouch have a bunch of secrets from Nunally and he still loves her the most of all. And isn't it because there are secrets, that it becomes even more meaningful on how secrets are handled when they're found out? And you know the student Lelouch is part of his real self too: it's not fake at all, same as Zero and the prince.

I forget where by I heard that milly and her family know about Lelouch being being a prince is because milly was planned to be engaged to Lelouch, but when her family lost wealth the engagement was off

The English dub of what Lelouch said about Shirley is strange here. The original Japanese just said "she's not good at meticulous/detailed stuff"

What stood out the most to me was Lulu not only orchestrating emotional manipulation, but also added contingency to outright kill Rolo then and there basically if Lulu feels like it. There is also implicit threat to reveal Rolo’s treason to Britania.

That's a very pre teen edgeboy think I'm so smart interpretation but Im really just repeating some buzzwords I heard online interpretation. Fantasy stories are supposed to have plot conveniences they always have. Saying "Bad writing" an entire genre and writing style that's been around for thousands of years isn't intelligent it's just embarrassing.
