Fun fact about the little prebattle maneuvering that Lelouche and Schniezle did with their forces: That was actually very common in premodern military battles. Commanders would flag commands to their army to shift into different formations as a way of showing off how disciplined and well trained their soldiers were. There are even records of some battles ending without ever fighting because one commander would recognize that his men were outclassed by the enemy from these displays.

The thing about the prerecorded messages is how Lelouch basically went from trying to guess what Mao, who had a relatively simple mindset, to what Schneizel was gonna say (because just like you guys said, Lelouch was just being vague) is crazy, because he most likely has to either drive the conversation himself in a way it looks natural or he just has to be reaaaally vague so Schneizel doesn't realize that Lelouch is just doing some trolling And damn, Diethard with the dramatic end has got to be the funniest thing ever, he could've said so many things but he just went "Damn Zero, at least use your geass on me once" like why?????

Schneizel my favourite antagonist throughout the series and so good of a moment Lelouch was having with CC just to get interrupted lol but man I'm not ready for this to end but happy to see yalls next series to watch

A. One more episode, I can't wait to see what you (and people who haven't seen it) think. B. Nina is an interesting character to me. She starts out meek and it's her fanaticism of Euphemia that causes her to end up on the path she takes. It seems clear that even though she has her prejudices she isn't totally sure what to do and her at her worst seems to come after Euphie dies which would have galvanized her feelings as "if the princess wants us to exterminate 11's, then they must be less than us"; Schnizel used that in order to get what he wanted. It's the Fleya that wakes her up to realize what she has done is wrong. She see's what she created and how much destruction it can cause and it finally clicks what she has become. She is not an innocent character, but by the end she has decided to take that burden and in doing so is acting on what she believes will lead to the world Euphie wanted. You don't have to like her, but at this point I feel she is at least worth accepting/ C. I probably talked out of my ass about all that, so you can ignore if you wanna. Its 15 past midnight right now. Am Tired

Code geass is my favourite anime. I ambso glad i watched CG before Aot Yearssssss ago.

Fun description from the year this aired was CG:R2 was a flaming, spinning, rolling garbage truck that somehow pulls off a perfect parallel parking job for an ending, compared to the other fan favorite Mai Hime which did a perfect gymnast routine all season and for the ending broke 14 bones on the landing and blamed the judges.

You two should react to Gundam 00 next. It's another Bandai series that was around at the same time as Code Geass and I loved both.

Certainly would be nice to see you react to the resurrection movie and certainly the akito the exile series is good as well as maybe the new Rose of the recapture series. Though its of note the resurrection movie is based off some quick summery movies which have some minor differences the most noticeable is that Shirley didn't get killed because Mao never existed.

You 2 have to watch Code geass : lelouch of the resurrection (movie , it's based in another universe with some minor changes. I would say it's a enjoyable mess) Code geass: akito the exiled (4 episode spin off which tells us about new characters based on European struggle against brittania that takes place between the events of R1 and R2) So yeah

In my opinion, dubbed messed up the surprise of Nunnally opening her eyes with that very loud sound, while in japanese it's practically silent which lead into the speculation of "did she just...?" or even not noticing and be surprised by it at the end of the episode...
