Code P0335 Crank Sensor Chevy Van 

Hey thank you soo much for this video!!! Got stranded with my 3500 Chevy express box truck 30 miles away from home. I was driving and the engine just cut out. Just like that no warning at all. Had to stay at a motel over night with my wife and get it towed to my house for $325. It was a complete disaster. The worst part is I have some big jobs coming up and I REALLY need the truck for work but the mechanic can't come out till a few days, maybe weeks. After seeing your video I crawled under the truck and tapped on the crankshaft position sensor a few times and wiggled it. Then I turned the key and to my astonishment, the engine roared to LIFE!! (Died a few seconds later) Tomorrow I will buy a new crankshaft position sensor and be back on the road and it's all thanks to your video!thank you so so so much!!!

I just found out this is the problem on my s10. I ordered two off eBay $10/ea and a new pigtail $10 because my old pigtail looks a little beat up to so im gonna replace it just to avoid a problem there.

Hi, so you fixed all the other things first and it did not start until you replaced the crank position sensor?? I have same code and my truck just cranks... my sensor got water and oil from leaking water pump and leaky o-ring on sensor... DID you have to reprogram or use relearn on a scanner to program the new sensor??? i also have a 4.3 2001 blazer...thanks for the great video...

Ebay has them for like $15. If you can wait until it comes in you can save your self some $$$$$$$

Same thing is happening to my 2004 chevy silverado 4.3 I already change distributor and still doing the same thing I am going to try crank sensor hope it works thanks
